Base Class: Barbarian
Just a way to have a slayer in the party
Send me to slaughter
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when in combat you can use a bonus action to discern and mark the mightiest hostile creature that you can see within 60ft based on CR (or whatever the DM deems it to be). While raging each time you make an attack against this creature you may add an extra 1D4 damage from the base type.
This feature can be used a number of times equal to your number of rages up to a maximum of 6 and must take a short rest rest to replenish this feature.
This benefit lasts until you finish a short or long rest. It ends early if you kill the marked creature. You may use a bonus action to discern and mark a more dangerous target before the currently marked target is killed and move the mark to the new target.
The damage will increase in levels.
Levels 1-4 = 1d4
Levels 5-8 = 1d6
Levels 9-12 = 1d8
Levels 13-16 = 1d10
Levels 17-20 = 1d12
When you kill a marked target, heal by rolling a number of d12 equal to your proficiency bonus with the minimum on each dice being equal to your constitution modifier
While a target is marked by this feature you must make every effort to chase down the target if you are not within melee.
Not until my journey's end
At 6th level, you gain extra resilience against anything trying to take you away from the fight. Whenever the target of your Slayers Fervour forces you to make a saving throw/ability check, add 1D6 to you roll as a reaction. This increases with your Slayer's Fervour dice.
This feature may also be used on an ability check/saving throw when a different creature would forcibly move you away/keep you from your target.
As a reaction you can move up to half your movement speed towards your target.
Deathblow
Starting at 6th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit points you may make 1 melee attack against whatever made that attack, even if it was hidden in stealth. If the creature that makes this attack is the target of Send me to slaughter then this attack will always be at advantage. You may only use this feature once per long rest
GRIMINIRRRR
Starting at 10th level when you Send me to slaughter target is (movement speed) away and can be seen, you may take an action to leap at them and make an attack roll, on a hit you can take the attack action and land in any space within 5 feet of the target on a miss you land in any space within 5 feet.
The leaping distance is decreased when needing to bypass obstacles, e.g. a 10ft tall wall will reduce the leaping distance by 10ft reducing a 30ft range to 20ft
This feature can be used a number of times equal to your number of rages up to a maximum of 6 and is replenished after a short or long rest
It'll take more than you've got
At 14th level, you gain the ability to counterattack when your Send me to slaughter target tries to sabotage you. If the target triggers Not until my journey's end and is in melee attack range, you can use your reaction to make one weapon attack against them. You make this attack immediately before making the saving throw. If your attack hits, add half the bonus from Not until my journey's end, in addition to the attack’s normal effects.
The worst slayer
Starting at 14th level, when you use the Deathblow feature while raging and don't kill the target then you may continue fighting while having 0 hit points. You still must make death saving throws, and you suffer the normal effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points. However, if you would die due to failing death saving throws, you don’t die until your rage ends, and you die then only if you still have 0 hit points.
In this state you can only be healed by killing the target of Send me to slaughter. Being healed this way brings you out of the deathless state without ending your rage and you must take a long rest before being able to use this feature again. If you fail all your saving throws/take enough damage to be killed before killing your target then you will die when your rage ends.
