Base Class: Warlock
The patron known as Chat is a hivemind of many thousands of lesser beings. On their own, they are nearly helpless. They can hardly produce a coherent sentence, preferring to speak in symbols understood only by their acolytes. But together, Chat can exhibit great power and command surprising amounts of resources. Chat offers their patronage to those it finds entertaining -- or perhaps just those it enjoys watching suffer.

Chat lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Help Me Out
Starting at 1st level, you can ask Chat for advice. As a bonus action, you may roll a d20 and consult the following table:
| d20 roll | Effect |
|---|---|
| 1-5 | Chat gives dubious advice. Gain disadvantage on your next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. |
| 6-15 | Chat gives helpful advice. Gain advantage on your next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. |
| 16-20 | Chat gives excellent advice. Your next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw will automatically succeed. |
After using this feature, you may not use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
Donation
Starting at 6th level, your patron can compel your enemies to lend you their power. Choose a creature you can see within 60 feet. This creature takes 1d8 necrotic damage, and you gain the same number of hit points.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Raid
Starting at 10th level, you can send members of Chat to overwhelm an opponent with madness. You may use this feature when completing a successful attack roll. The target's mind will suddenly be flooded with nonsensical messages and symbols. The target takes 6d8 psychic damage and must roll a Charisma saving throw. On a failure, they are frightened of you until the start of your next turn.
After using this feature, you may not use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
Hype Train
Beginning at 14th level, your patron becomes more enamored with you with every success. When you make a successful attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can choose to activate this feature. You will then gain bonuses to additional rolls of these types, but must continue to make successful rolls to keep the effect running. The effect scales with continued rolls according to the following table.
| Effect Level | Bonus | Successes required to reach next level |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | +2 | 2 (3 total) |
| 2 | +4 | 2 (5 total) |
| 3 | +6 | 2 (7 total) |
| 4 | +8 | 3 (10 total) |
| 5 | +10 | N/A - effect stays at this level until a failed roll. |
If at any point you fail an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, the effect ends. If you roll a 1 on a roll of these types, the effect ends. When the effect ends, you are exhausted from keeping Chat entertained for so long, and cannot move or take actions until the end of your next turn.
After using this feature, you cannot activate it again until you complete a long rest.
