Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids of the Circle of Daylilies revel in the chaos of nature. They especially like the daylily, a flower that comes in wide variety of colors and shapes.

Petal Aura

Starting at 2nd level, you are surrounded by ethereal, transparent, colorless daylily buds. As an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to awaken those buds, causing them to open and gain color; becoming corporeal. These flowers either grant benefits to you and your allies, or detriments to your enemies.

The daylily flowers have two primary components: their petals and their throat. The color of each determines what effects occur. Your colors are chosen randomly when you expend a use of your Wild Shape feature. Role a 1d4 for the throat color and a 1d8 (reroll on an 8) for the petal color.

Throat Color (1d4) Effect
Green (1) Grants Resistance to the selected damage type to yourself and friendly creatures of your choice in Aura.
Yellow (2) Grants 1d6 additional damage to all attacks of the selected damage type made by yourself and friendly creatures of your choice in Aura.
Orange (3) Grants Vulnerability (or removes Resistance) of selected damage type to hostile creatures in Aura.
Pink (4) Does 1d4 damage of selected damage type to hostile creatures in Aura on every turn.

Petal Color (1d8) Damage Type
Black (1) Necrotic
White (2) Radiant
Red (3) Fire
Orange (4) Thunder
Yellow (5) Lightning
Pink (6) Psychic
Purple (7) Poison

The aura has a range of 10 feet starting at 2nd level, and increases by 5 feet every 2 levels in this class: 15 feet at 4th level, 20 feet at 6th level, 25 feet at 8th level, 30 feet at 10th level, 35 feet 12th level, 40 feet at 14th level, 45 feet at 16th level, 50 feet at 18 level, 55 feet at 20th level.

The aura also has a duration of 1 minute, or until it is dismissed with an action. You can expend another use of your Wild Shape feature to change the colors of the throat or petals with another roll of the dice.

Strong Scent

At 3rd level, you have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) and Charisma (Intimidation) checks when the target creature is within your Petal Aura's maximum range. Your Petal Aura does not need to be active for this effect to work.

Diverse Forms

At 6th level, your daylily flowers now take on different forms to suit your needs. Your form is randomly chosen when you expend a use of your Wild Shape feature. Role a 1d8 (reroll on an 8) for the form.

Form (1d8) Effect
Single (1) No additional effect.
Double (2) Doubles the total damage done of the selected damage type to all creatures (excluding you) in the Aura.
Polymerous (3) When a creature deals the selected damage type to another creature, it can reroll any number of its damage dice of the selected damage type, and use either total.
Spider (4) 1d6 additional creatures you can see outside the Aura are affected by it for the duration.
Cascade (5) When a creature (excluding you) takes damage of the selected type in the Aura, it is pushed 5 feet away from you.
Cristate (6) For every 5 feet of movement a creature (excluding you) takes in the Aura, they take 1d4 of the selected damage type.
Recurved (7) Creatures moving toward you treat the area within the Aura as difficult terrain, creatures moving away or adjacent are not affected.

You can expend another use of your Wild Shape feature to change the colors of the throat or petals and/or the flower form with another roll of the dice.

Bitone Flowers

At 10th level, you now roll twice when using your Petal Aura feature to determine petal color. The Aura now grants two selected damage types based on the numbers you rolled, and the flowers now have two intermixed colors. The exception is if you roll the same number on both dice (including if you roll two 8's). This causes to flowers to become transparent and colorless, and the selected damage type instead becomes Force damage.

If the Petal Aura feature tells you to roll a die to deal damage based on the selected type, roll for both types of damage separately.

Complex Forms

At 14th level, you now roll twice when using your Petal Aura feature to determine form. The Aura now grants two forms based on the numbers you rolled, and the flowers now have a more complex shape. The exception is if you roll the same number on both dice (including if you roll two 8's). This causes the flowers to become increasingly complex and distorted, forming ever complex fractals. When this happens, on each of your turns for the duration of the Petal Aura, you reroll the throat color, petal colors and forms at the beginning and end of your turn.
