Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who follow the Path of the Inferno channel the primal fury of fire, using its destructive power to fuel their rage. These fierce warriors can incinerate their enemies and become living infernos, drawing strength from the flames that engulf them.

Burning Rage

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage is suffused with the power of fire. While raging, you gain the following benefits:

  • Fiery Strikes: Your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 fire damage. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level and 3d6 at 14th level.
  • Bright Light: You shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

Fiery Aura

Also at 3rd level, when you enter your rage, you emit an aura of intense heat. Each creature of your choice that starts its turn within 10 feet of you takes fire damage equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1).

Flame Resistance

Beginning at 6th level, you gain resistance to fire damage. Additionally, you can survive extreme heat conditions without suffering adverse effects.

Scorching Retaliation

At 10th level, when a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal fire damage to the attacker. The fire damage equals your Barbarian level.

Infernal Eruption

Starting at 14th level, you can unleash a burst of fiery energy when you enter your rage. When you're raging, each creature of your choice within 20 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). A creature takes 4d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
