Monk
Base Class: Monk

You have honed your mind and body so that you may react instantly to the dangers around you and be fully aware of your surroundings.

Flow State

You focus and reach out with your ki to your surroundings, giving you the ability to sense even the smallest creatures around you.

While in the flow state you gain the following abilities:

- You gain advantage in dexterity checks and dexterity saving throws.

- You are unable to be surprised whilst conscious.

- You add your proficiency bonus to your initiative.

You may use this equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. This improves at higher levels.

Counter

When an enemy attacks you with a melee attack and misses, you may respond by spending a ki point to use your flurry of blows as a reaction.

Improved Flow

During your flow state you are now able to use the following abilities:

- You may use your patient defence as a reaction

- You can detect any creatures within 60ft and will know their creature type (e.g undead, aberration, celestial) and condition after a perception check

Nerve Attack

Using 3 ki points you can use a melee attack to strike a specific nerve point on a creature to disable it's movement.

If it fails a saving throw against your ki save DC the creature is paralysed and causing 6d10 psychic damage.
If the creature succeeds, the creature isn't paralysed and only takes half damage.
