Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of Liberation is the embodiment of the freedom of the mortal spirit. The desire to be free, to be able to follow your own path. They are constantly hunting enslavers, traffickers, and all those who dare attempt to impose their will on others. They have been known to lead rebellions against tyrannical leaders and can be credited with the fall of entire countries and kingdoms in pursuit of the ideal of liberation. They are frequently called Liberators, or Freedom Knights as they are always in the pursuit of freeing others and inspiring them to push forward.
Their will doesn't only extend to physical enslavement but mental as well. Those around them have described feeling more nimble physically and more resistant mentally. Coming across a Freedom Knight can open you up to your own flaws and weaknesses, or even snap you out of unknowing manipulation. They bring with them a presence that brings others together to fight in the name of liberty.
Tenets of Liberation
A paladin who swears by the Oath of Liberation is, in a way, an embodiment of the very spirit of freedom and liberty. They emphasize the importance of autonomy for all and absolute punishment against those who attempt to subjugate it.
Preserver of Freedom. Freedom is a natural right, never a privilege. It is imperative that it be defended and maintained at any cost. Your life for the cause.
Destroyer of Inhibition. Inhibition is a limiter. Inhibition is the natural enemy of liberation. Destroy it. Within yourself and others.
Beholder of Unification. Only in unity can we liberate each other and ourselves. A force of many is leagues more powerful than a force of one. Fight together.
Granter of Liberty. Your desire to free others from their chains, literal or figurative, takes absolute precedence. Nothing is of greater importance or honor than to free others. Be their liberator.
