Base Class: Bard

Bards of Colege of Mishcief sow discord on the battlefield. These bards believe that the greatest inspiration comes from the misfortune of others. They do not fight with anger or malice however, they fight with mischief.

Illusory Mimic

3rd-level College of Mischief feature

Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to create perfect illusiosn of people and things you have seen. You learn the minor illusion cantrip.

Additionally, when you cast minor illusion, you can instead create a perfect mimic of yourself or another creature you have seen and heard for at least 30 minutes. The mimic lasts for 1 hour, or until it is destroyed, you dismiss it (no action required), you manifest another Mimic, or you’re incapacitated. The mimic appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within 30 feet, then you can teleport, magically swapping places with the mimic. As a bonus action or as a part of the bonus action when you use your Bardic Inspiration feature, you can move the illusion up to 30 feet to a space you can see, but it must remain within 120 feet of you.

The mimic is utterly indistinguishable from the creature it is based on, and cannot be destroyed. Physical contact with the mimic reveals it to be an illusion, but does not make it disappear, and does not make the one who made contact with it any better at discerning the illusion. For the duration, you can cast spells, with range other than self, and speak through the mimic, and if the mimic looks like another creature, you can speak using their voice. You must have heard the person speaking, or heard the creature make the sound. A successful Wisdom (Insight or Perception) check or a sucessful Intelligence (Arcana) check contested by your Charisma (Deception or Performance) check allows a listener to determine that the effect is faked.

Once you create a mimic with this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher to use this feature again.

Discordant Mimic

6th-level College of Mischief feature

When a creature ends it turn within 5ft of your mimic or attacks it, you can use your reaction to make the mimic explode in a cloud of smoke. Each creature within 10 ft of the mimic must succeed Dexterity saving throw or take force damage equal to 2 rolls of your Bardic Inspiration die, the creature that attacked it automatically fails this save. This smoke creates a 20-foot-radius sphere. The sphere spreads around corners, and its area is lightly obscured.
