Base Class: Barbarian
Wild and unpredictable, the hellion flings herself into battle with a burst of momentum. Accustomed to being attacked from all sides, she keeps her enemies at bay with a long-reaching weapon and wild swings.
The Hellion is my attempt at a Dexterity-based barbarian.
Warrior of Momentum: The major feature. She can use two-handed and versatile weapons as if they were finesse weapons and she gets a boost to her AC.
Breakthrough: Like a rogue's Cunning Action, but received at 6th level instead of 2nd. This gives her the needed mobility to reinforce the image of a wild blur on the battlefield.
Last Stand: On its face it's a scarily powerful ability that has the potential to obliterate the action economy, but comes with such a harsh penalty that players will think twice before using it.
Retaliation: Taken from the Path of the Berserker. No changes made.
Warrior of Momentum
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to use two-handed and versatile melee weapons as if they have the finesse property. In addition, you can add your Rage damage to any such weapon attack.
You can add your Strength modifier to your Unarmored Defense Armor Class (minimum of 1.)
*Because of the limitations of D&D Beyond, you must select a "Hellion" weapon for the attack modifier to be correctly calculated. A Hellion weapon is just a mundane two-handed or versatile weapon with the finesse property.
Breakthrough
Starting at 6th level, you can Dash or Disengage as a bonus action. If you use your bonus action to rage, you can use this trait as part of the same bonus action.
Last Stand
You can unleash a desperate frenzy while surrounded. Starting at 10th level, while raging, you can make an attack at every creature within your melee range that does not have full cover. When your rage ends, you gain a level of exhaustion equal to half the number of targets you hit (minimum of 1.)
Retaliation
Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within your melee range, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.
