Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

In the elder clans of the ancient times, when the clash of steel was the language of legends, there arose a select few warriors who transcended mere brute strength. These martial masters, bound by code and discipline, carved their names into history with a balance of might and strategy. Warriors of this path are revered not only for their ferocity in battle but for their ability to turn the tide of conflict through sheer tactical brilliance. They don armour and wield weapons with practiced ease, striking with an artistry that belies their primal rage. Their training has imbued them with the ability to strike with multiple blows in a single action, delivering powerful attacks while leveraging their combat experience to gain the upper hand. Embodying the spirit of ancient heroes, those who walk the Path of the Warrior are a force to be reckoned with—unyielding in defence, relentless in assault, and ever vigilant in their pursuit of victory.

Warrior's Fury

When you use your action to make a weapon attack, if any creature is within 5 feet of your primary target, you can use a bonus action to make an additional melee weapon attack against one of those adjacent creatures. This attack deals half the damage you inflicted on the primary target (rounded down).

Martial Techniques

Choose 1 Martial Technique from the list below. You gain these techniques at 3rd level and can learn additional techniques at 6th, 10th, and 14th levels. Techniques include:

  • Defensive Stance: As a bonus action, you can grant yourself a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn.
  • Counterstrike: When a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.

Counterstrike

When a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.

Defensive Stance

As a bonus action, you can grant yourself a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn.

Tactical Advantage

At 6th level, you learn to read the battlefield and exploit openings. As a bonus action, you can grant an ally within 30 feet advantage on their next attack roll or give them temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian level. You can use this ability an amount of time equal to your level.

Unyielding Defense

While raging, you gain resistance to one damage type of your choice (choose from psychic, necrotic, or radiant) and advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.

Master of Arms

At level 14, once per rage, you can choose to make an attack roll with advantage or deal an additional 2d6 damage on a successful weapon attack. You must decide to use this feature before rolling the attack.
