Base Class: Monk

A monk who follows the Way of the Self-control wants peace of mind. They were usually lost and in a bad place and found a way to quiet the voices in his their head. They can control their emotions in stressfull situations and abstract from what surrounds them, remaining unchanged. They can also focus to gain a complete control of their mind and body, enhancing their capabilities.

Monks of the Way of the Self-Control tend to be peaceful and use his abilities only for self-defense, avoiding violence anytime they can, but they won't hesitate to fight when there isn't a viable alternative.

Focus Senses

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can enhance your senses to perceive your surroundings with no need of sight. You are now proficient in perception if you weren't already. You have 20ft of Blindsight and you can spend 1 Ki point as a action to double the distance for 1 minute. Also, whenever a creature within this range causes you to make a saving throw, you make it with advantage.

Flurry of Needles

At 6th level, you gain the ability to sense the weak spots of your enemies. Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, your hits deal damage as if the target were vulnerable to slashing, piercing and bludgeoning damage. If the target was resistant to that type of damage, you deal normal damage instead.

Total control

Beginning at 11th level, you learn to have a total control over your body and emotions. You are now inmune to being Charmed, Frightened, Paralyzed or Stunned.

Ki barrier

At 17th level, you gain the ability to proyect your Ki arround your body for a brief moment. As a reaction, you can spend 5 Ki points to avoid any effect or damage until the start of your next turn. Within that time, you can't be affected for any spell, including spells casted by allies.
