Base Class: Rogue

The Chef rogue train long and hard in the kitchen. For that, you will become the expert chef. Are you tired of fighting on an empty growling stomach? What do you think happens when the party of adventurers have to fight Vecna on an empty stomach? Those are two questions you will never have to answer as the chef. The chef knows the ecosystems of their sorroundings and tries to preserve them, and for that he can use nature to it's fullest. A good chef has a way to cook good food with anything he can find. Should that be animals, plants or monsters wouldn't matter. It can be cooked nonetheless.

Tools of trade

When you adopt this specialization at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Cook's utensils. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan's tools of your choice.

Extreme knife skills

You have so much experience chopping up vegetables and foods that you have become master with the knife. You use your sleight of hand for attack rolls and add double you dex modifier to damage when you attack with a dagger og other knives.

A light snack

When you reach 3rd level you start to learn how to cook light snacks. You learn two of the light snacks seen below. It takes 10 minutes to cook a light snack and can also be done during a short or long rest. Effects of snacks does not increase by eating the same snack twice. A light snack expires after 24 hours where if you eat one you take 3d4 poison damage. You learn an additional light snack at 6th level.

A healing snack

The next time you take a short rest you get to add +1 to all your hit dice.

A nutritious snack

Lets you add half you proficiency bonus to con saves (rounded down) for 1 hour

A salty snack

Gives you a +1 to attack rolls for 1 hour

A spicy snack

Increases movement speed by 10 ft. for 1 hour

A Sweet snack

Gives an amount of temp hp equal to your proficiency bonus + wis modifier. You lose these temp hp after a long rest.

Beverages

At 9th level you have become so good at cooking snacks that, that is no longer enough for your. You have begun to dable in the arts of making beverages. It takes 10 minutes to make a drink the size of a vial and can also be done during a short or long rest. You learn 2 of the drinks seen below. A drink spoils after a long rest. Drinking it then would result in the consumer taking 3d8 poision damage. Effects of drinks does not increase by consuming the same drink twice. You learn another drink at 11th level.

 

A cocktail

Gives +2 to hit and +2 damage

A juice

Heals 8d4+8 hp and removes the poisoned, frightened, blinded and paralyzed conditions

A smoothie

Increases AC by 2 until long rest

A tea

Gives advantage on all wisdom checks or saving throws for 1 hour

Mead

You regain all expended hit dice, but you get -2 to con saves for 4 hours

Main Dish

At 13th level you have become very adept in the art of cooking that you can now imbue your main dishes with incredible boosts. when your reach this level you learn to cook the whole party's breakfest, lunch and dinner. You can cook the dish depending on what time of day it is. You can also use the leftovers for another time. The dish turns to leftovers after 1 hour. You can make up to six servings in 30 minutes and it takes 5 minutes to eat. One serving is enough to feed one creature for a day.

A strong breakfest: Gives +1 to str, dex and con and gives adv on str, dex and con saves. Until next dawn. Can be cooked between 6 am to 10 am. Leftovers from breakfest gives +1 to str, dex and con until next dawn.

A nice lunch: You can add your proficiency bonus to all saves. You add half your proficiency bonus to all wis, int and cha checks. Leftovers from lunch gives half your proficiency to all wis, int and cha checks.

A fulfilling dinner: you gain +2 to hit and +2 to damage until next long rest. After next long rest you start with 25 temp hp, and resistance to 1 damage type of your choice until sunset. Leftovers from dinner gives 25 temp hp resistance to 1 damage type of you choice until sunset.

 

Expert Chef

You have finally reached the peak of your cooking journey. You have mastered the culinary skills. You have become the expert chef. You have mastered making food out of whatever you find during your travels.

You gain expertise in nature and sleight of hand when you are searching for, or getting ingredients for cooking.

You can use ingredients you find to create your own kinds of dishes. These dishes gives boosts you can either agree with your DM before game, or DM chooses what the different dishes you cook does.
