Base Class: Bard
Sometimes not all magic is fancy wand-waving or even a beautiful song on the dulcimer. Jesters have mastered the subtlety of the bardic arts through their slapstick comedic routines and rowdy jokes, causing joy for their friends and confusion for their enemies.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join this Bard College at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Acrobatics as well as the disguise kit.
The Fool's Guise
Starting at 3rd level, your silly attire causes your enemies to underestimate you. You gain a bonus to unarmored AC equal to your Charisma modifier. This is not usable with a shield.
'Tis But a Jest
Starting at 3rd level, you become proficient in getting under the skin of your enemies and rivals. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of Bardic Inspiration to make a biting comment or something similar against a target who can hear you, and if the target fails a Wisdom save against your spell save DC, they become stunned until the beginning of your next turn.
Slapstick
Starting at 6th level, you can use an action to begin a routine befitting your role as a performer, which you can do even in combat. Choose a number of creatures who can hear and/or see you up to your Charisma modifier to distract, and make a contested Acrobatics check against each creature’s Insight. For the next round, any attacks made against a creature who failed will be made with advantage, and any attack that a creature who failed makes against you will be at disadvantage. If a creature passes this check, it is immune to this effect for 24 hours. You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to half your proficiency bonus, rounded down.
Clowning Around
Starting at 14th level, you have learned to identify the mental tricks of others while bolstering your own. You gain resistance to psychic damage, and whenever you deal damage of any kind, you may add an amount of psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
