Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Sous Chef are wise and practiced in the culinary arts. They deftly use their skills as both a monk and a chef to aid their allies, hurt their enemies, and prepare lovely meals.
Bon Appétit
Starting at third level, whenever you would make an unarmed strike, you can choose to use a Ki point to instead perform a Serving Strike. This allows you to infuse anything that can be consumed for an effect with Ki and throw it at a target to grant its effects to that target. If the chosen item has an area of effect, this strike inherits the area of effect of the item.
This strike can automatically hit a willing or unconscious target.
Additionally, you gain proficiency with Cook's Utensils if you do not already have it.
Home-Cooked Meal
At 6th level, you gain the ability to prepare magical food using your Ki. During each long rest, you gain a number of Ki Buns equal to your monk level. These can be consumed as an action to regain hitpoints equal to your unarmed strike damage and cure Poison, Paralysis, Blinded, or Frightened. This is compatible with Serving Strike.
Happy Hour
Beginning at 11th level, you can meditate to prepare yourself for action. Once per long rest, you can spend 5 minutes to meditate and gain the effects of a short rest.
Cuts and Burns
Unlocked at 17th level.
Your experience as a chef was gained through trial and error, and you have burnt and cut yourself by mistake countless times. Through meditation, you have managed to prepare yourself for these kinds of injuries.
Gain resistance to Fire and Slashing damage.
