Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who have befriended a Wildfire Spirit learn to harness the true essence of Fire.

Scorched Earth

3rd-level Path of Wildfire feature

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage is fueled by Wildfire Spirits. While raging, your movement leaves a brief trail of fire in your wake. Whenever you move past a creature for the first time on your turn they take 1D6 Fire Damage. A creature can only be affected by this once per turn.

This Fire Damage increases to 2D6 at 5th level, 3D6 at 11th level and 4D6 at 17th level.

Temperature Rising

3rd-level Path of Wildfire feature

The Wildfire Spirits to which you have bonded with have granted your body the ability to withstand intense heat. You gain resistance to Fire Damage.

Combustive Reaction

6th-level Path of Wildfire Feature

The heat of the Wildfire Spirits warms and readies your muscles allowing for a quicker reaction time. If an enemy hits you with a melee weapon attack, you may use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack that deals an extra 2D6 Fire Damage on a hit. This Fire Damage increases to 3D6 at 11th level and 4D6 at 17th level.

Heat Wave

10th-level Path of Wildfire feature

While Raging, once per turn, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack you can use your Bonus Action to cause Wildfire Spirit flames to burst outwards from your body, causing a wave of intense heat to stream throughout the battlefield. Each Creature within a 30ft cone in the direction of your attack must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw or take 4D6 Fire Damage or half as much on a successful save.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus and regain all expended uses after a long rest.

Wildfire Rage

14-level Path of Wildfire feature

Your bond with the Wildfire Spirits has grown incredibly strong, allowing them to merge their essence with your own for a short period of time. While you are entering rage, you may also set yourself ablaze with magical flames of the Wildfire Spirits. These flames race across your body, shedding a bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet for the duration of the feature. You are immune to Fire Damage and have resistance to Cold Damage. Your melee attacks deal an additional 3D6 Fire Damage. Any creature that moves within 5 feet of you for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there takes 10 Fire Damage.

Additionally, at the end of each of your turns, you gain 1 point of Exhaustion. For each point of exhaustion, you deal an extra 1D6 Fire Damage. This Fire Damage effect extends to your Scorched Earth, Combustive Reaction, and your Heat Wave Feature.

While Raging you ignore any negative effects of exhaustion.

The effects of Wildfire Rage end once your Rage ends. If you willingly end your rage, you recover one level of exhaustion.
