Base Class: Warlock
You have made a pact with the Unmaker, a god of destruction, passion, and renewal. Unlike the traditional image of entropy and annihilation, the Unmaker represents the breaking down of what no longer serves, and the rebuilding of something stronger, something more vital. You are granted the power to survive even in the face of ruin, and to rise again and again, reforged by your own spirit and determination.
Tenets of the Unmaker's Pact:
- Passion: You pursue your goals with intensity and emotion, whether it be love, ambition, or vengeance.
- Rebirth: Destruction isn't the end, but the prelude to transformation. You embrace change, rising stronger from every defeat.
- Second Chances: Life offers opportunities to those willing to grasp them. You will always find a way to overcome your past.
Expanded Spell List
Starting at level 1, as part of your pact you gain the following spells:
| Spell Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 1st | Heroism, Healing Word |
| 2nd | Lesser Restoration, Calm Emotions |
| 3rd | Crusader's Mantle, Revivify |
| 4th | Aura of Purity, Death Ward |
| 5th | Reincarnate, greater restoration |
Unbound Aegis
At 1st level your bond with the Unmaker protects you from destruction, creating a barrier that rebuilds itself as you fight. As a bonus action, you magically wreathe yourself in protective energy for 1 minute. You gain the following benefits while wreathed in protective energy:
-You gain temporary hit points equal to 1d4 + your warlock level.
-Once during each of your turns, when you hit a creature with an attack you or an ally within 15 feet gains temporary hit points equal to 1d4 + your Charisma modifier.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Zealous Surge
At 6th level, your connection to The Unmaker allows you to tap into the cycle of rebirth to recover quickly, fueling your passion in battle.
- Surge of Life: When you take damage from a melee attack, you can use your reaction to ignite your body in ethereal flames. The attacker must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 2d8 fire or radiant damage (your choice). Regardless of the save result, you immediately regain hit points equal to half the damage you took from the triggering attack. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1), and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
- Fires of Passion: When you are below half of your hit points, you can add your Charisma modifier to any saving throw you make.
Second Chance
Starting at 10th level the Unmaker's gift allows you to defy fate. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can use your reaction to expend a spell slot and immediately regain hit points equal to twice the spell slot level. Additionally, you can take an action to move up to half your movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
You can use this feature once per long rest
Become Unraveled
When you reach the 14th level, you gain the ultimate gift of the Unmaker: the ability to rebuild yourself from ruin. You have learned to momentarily unravel and reshape your physical form to dodge danger or undo critical injuries.
- As an action, you can unravel your physical form, becoming semi-corporeal for up to 1 minute. During this time:
- You gain resistance to all damage except force damage.
- You can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. If you end your turn inside an object, you are immediately shunted to the nearest unoccupied space and take 1d10 force damage.
- You immediately heal yourself for 8d4 hit points.
Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
