College of Musicals

Bards who study the College of Musicals are inspired by the musical and magical qualities of fairy tales. They use their voices and their magic to bring hope, healing, and joy to their companions and allies, and to vanquish their foes with the power of music and love.

Animal Friends

3rd-level College of Musicals feature

Whenever you make a Wisdom (animal handling) check, you gain a bonus to the check equal to your Charisma modifier.

Additionally, you can cast speak with animals without expending a spell slot.

Magical Songs

3rd-level College of Musicals feature

Whenever you cast a spell that requires Verbal components. As a bonus action, you can expend a bardic inspiration die to roll on the Magical Songs table using your Bardic Inspiration die to determine the nature of your song.

If the song requires a saving throw, the DC equals your spell save DC.

BARDIC INSP. DIE	Magical Song
1	Charming Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they must make a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed until the end of your next turn.
2	Healing Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they can regain hit points equal to 2 x your Bardic Inspiration die.
3	Unhappy Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they gain disadvantage on saving throws against spells you cast.
4	Funny Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they must make an Intelligence saving throw or be knocked prone. At the end of each of its turns, and each time it takes damage, the target can make another Intelligence saving throw. The target has advantage on the saving throw if it’s triggered by damage. On a success, this effect ends.
5	Frightening Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they must make a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
6	Inspirational Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they can gain temporary hit points equal to 2 x your Bardic Inspiration die.
7	Enthralling Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they must make a Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed until the end of your next turn.
8	Motivational Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they all gain a Bardic Inspiration die. This effect doesn't use up additional Bardic Inspiration die.
9	Uplifting Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they can gain a flying speed to their walking speed.
10	Sheltering Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they can gain a bonus to their armor class equal to your Charisma modifier.
11	Dazzling Song. Choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 60 ft of you, they must make a Charisma saving throw or be blinded until the end of your next turn.
12	Enchanting Song. You can choose any of the effects from the table above.

Melodic Charm

6th-level College of Musicals feature

Whenever a creature within 30 ft you makes a weapon attack against a creature other than you. You can cast use your reaction to make a Performance check contested by their Insight check.

On a success, that creature uses that attack to sing instead. (The attack is wasted)

You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier.

True Love's Kiss

14th-level College of Musicals feature

Starting at 14th level, you gain the ability to revive a creature who has recently died. As an action, you can kiss a creature that has died within the last 10 days. If the creature's soul is willing and able to return, it does so with all its hit points restored.

This ability can only be used once per long rest.
