Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The Magus is a master of both magic and melee, expertly combining powerful magic with hard hitting physical attacks.

Combat Training

You have been trained to fight up close and personal, giving you many benefits.

Spellstrike

Once per turn, you can cast a spell that requires an attack roll and apply the effects to a weapon attack, except for the ability to target multiple creatures (non-targeted area of effects still apply). The weapon attack roll is used to determine if both the weapon attack and spell attack hit. Weapon attacks using this feature are considered magical.

Arcane Cascade

You divert a portion of a spell's magical power and keep it cycling through your body and weapon using specialized forms, breathing, or footwork. While this effect is active, your melee Strikes deal 1 extra force damage. This damage increases to 2 at level 6 and 5 at level 9. Any attack that benefits from this damage is considered magical

If the spell used to activate this ability was one that can deal damage, the damage from the effect is instead the same type that spell could deal (or one type of your choice if the spell could deal multiple types of damage)

Hybrid Study

There are many ways that one can study both the arcane arts and the art of combat. These fighting styles give extra effects to your Arcane Cascade or Spellstrike, and give you access to different abilities called Conflux Spells.

Inexorable Iron

Once you begin along a path, nothing can stop you from reaching its end. You transform the mass of a greataxe, greatsword, or polearm into an unstoppable force to augment your own striking power or keep you standing on the battlefield.

Laughing Shadow

Magic is freeing, a means to your ends, and you can use it to go where you want, do as you please, and avoid the consequences. You are a laughing shadow of spell and blade, always one step ahead of your foes, always with a trick up your sleeve.

Starlit Span

With magic, the sky's the limit, and you can't be bound by the confines of physical proximity. Your power reaches as far as your senses can perceive, transcending the space between you and your target even with spells that normally require direct physical contact.

When you use a Spellstrike, you can make a ranged weapon attack as long as the target is within the first range increment of your ranged weapon attack. You can deliver the spell even if its range is shorter than the range increment of your ranged attack.

Extra Attack

You gain an extra attack.

Practiced Strikes

Through much practice and experience, you can now use your Spellstrikes twice per turn, and target one additional creature with the spell effects within 10ft of the initial target.

Weapon of the Mind

You have honed your magical abilities to even further extend to your martial prowess, allowing you to apply your intelligence modifier to attack rolls and damage of magical weapons in addition to the stat that is used for that normally.
