Child of Ares

As a child of Ares that is a barbarian. You have a special strength that only your brothers and sisters would have. Battle runs in your very veins, and you're enemies will not know what hit them. However this subclass is more than that. Ares is a war god, so you will be stronger or faster than most, but Ares is also cunning, crafty and a master of weapons. You will also have a natural understanding of the battlefield and leading your friends to war. Your rage shall bring inspiration to those who have fallen, and you will be able to call upon the soldiers that were on the losing side of a war as allies in your triumphs. 

Rally

Ares needs his soldiers to stay mentally and physically strong. He typically does this in two different ways. He either inspires his soldiers or raises his own, and a child of Ares can do the same to a lesser extent.

Call to Action

Ares is the god of war, and he aids in mortal wars, he empowers them with fighting spirit. A child of Ares can call upon this power to inspire their fellow soldiers.(Inspire anyone in a 20ft circle)

Call to the fallen

As the god of war, every soldier who dies and has died on the losing side of any war become soldiers of Ares to revive as he wishes. As a child of Ares, you can borrow some soldiers and summon them to come to your aid, and also summon a skeletal steed

Spartan's Rage

Ares is the god of courage, but his children aren't always courageous. So instead they just get so angry that they can't really feel anything else. They get so angry they might even spill their rage unto others. Causing them to also gain the benefits of a barbarian's rage for a short duration.

Legion's Courage

The rage of Ares flows out of your body and towards your army, gifting them all the rage only a barbarian could have.

Selfish Rage

Instead of sharing your rage with your fellow soldiers. You take it all into yourself, strengthening you instead. Lasting 10 minutes, starting at 2 charges, then getting one more every two levels until level 20

 

Ares' Curse

Ares can chose to bless his children. However it is  a very rare phenomenon. So the children of Ares came up with a different idea. They curse themselves as a way to gain temporary strength, but as it is a curse, it damages the wielder equal to their level

General's Mastery

The children of Ares are strong leaders. This allows them to be the symbol of power for their legion. The Child of Ares has mastered their powers. They gain advantage on every initiative roll. All strength checks, and gains three constitution or intelligence permanently.
