Base Class: Warlock
Legends tell of a mother so wracked with the grief of a child she was unable to protect that in her all-consuming sadness she wept so hard and for so long her tears eventually formed the oceans, seas, and rivers of the world. The gods saw this horrible tragedy and gifted her with the power to always protect those in need of saving. Those that claim to have seen The Weeping Lady describe her as a beautiful woman dressed in a tattered black funeral dress, her hands covering her face in sorrow. An endless stream falls from her eyes, and she walks barefoot upon a path soaked with her own tears.

Shield of Sorrows
Starting at 3rd level, your contract with The Weeping Lady allows you to offer your life force as payment for Her protection. As an action, you may pay any amount of hit points. When you do, you summon the Shield of Sorrows -- A silvery blue aura of energy born of The Weeping Lady's endless sadness. The shield surrounds you as a 30 foot Emanation, lasts for 1 minute, and has hit points equal to the life you paid plus twice your Warlock level.
When you summon the Shield of Sorrows, you may choose a creature other than yourself plus any number of additional creatures for every 5 hit points paid. While inside the radius of the shield, the selected creature(s) receive half damage from all sources; The other half goes to the Shield of Sorrows until it reaches 0 or less hit points, and breaks. You may summon the Shield of Sorrows a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus per long rest.
Tears of Despair
Starting at 6th level, The Weeping Lady's never ending tears now trickle down the edges of your Shield of Sorrow, adding to its protective power. When your Shield of Sorrows breaks, you and the creatures protected by it all gain 2d10 temporary hit points.
Creatures protected by your Shield of Sorrows now have a +2 bonus to all saving throws they make.
Pain of Loss
Starting at 10th level, you can draw upon the agony of loss felt by The Weeping Lady and add that pain to your attacks. When your Shield of Sorrows breaks, the next time you deal damage or restore hit points, you add 3d8 to the total. The extra damage added this way is radiant.
Creatures protected by your Shield of Sorrows gain a +1 bonus to all attack and damage rolls they make.
Mother's Love
Starting at 14th level, The Weeping Lady protects you with the intensity of a mourning mother. Once per long rest, when your Shield of Sorrows breaks, you may restore 10d6 hit points and regain one Pact Magic spell slot.
Creatures protected by your Shield of Sorrows have advantage on their first Death Save.
