College of The Dropout

In truth, these bards are masters of adaptation, having sampled and studied from multiple bardic traditions. Their eclectic experiences grant them unparalleled versatility and resourcefulness. They may not have completed their formal education in any one college, but their diverse skill set and ability to think on their feet make them formidable and unpredictable allies. Embracing the mantra of "jack of all trades, master of none," Dropout Bards excel in turning their varied knowledge into innovative solutions and inspiring performances.

Versatile Performance

At 3rd level, you can choose two additional Bardic Inspiration options from any of the other bardic colleges. You can use these options as if they were part of your original bardic college. You have seen how other bards inspire, and you have learned to adapt those techniques. Additionally, these can be changed once each per long rest.

Adaptable Learning

At 6th level, you gain the ability to temporarily learn new spells. During a long rest, you can replace one of your known spells with a spell from any class's spell list. The spell must be of a level you can cast and can't be higher than 3rd level. You have learned to adapt and pick up new tricks quickly.

Versatile Inspiration

Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to select six Bardic Inspiration abilities from any Bard subclass. However, you can only have two of these abilities active at a time.

As a bonus action, you can replace one of your currently active Bardic Inspiration abilities with one of the remaining four you have chosen.

Masterful Improvisation

At 14th level, you can use your action to improvise a solution to a problem or create an effect similar to a spell you have seen before. Describe the effect you want to create, and the DM will determine if it is possible and what checks or resources might be required. This represents your ability to think on your feet and use your diverse experiences to solve problems creatively.
