Base Class: Ranger
The Relentless Predator is a highly trained combatant who merges martial prowess with an untamed bond to the wilderness. You combine the swift, precise style of a master hunter with the savage instincts of a true predator, always one step ahead of your prey. Whether fighting up close or at range, you move with the swiftness of the wind and strike with deadly precision, outmaneuvering and outthinking foes through relentless pursuit and keen tactical insight. You are not just a warrior—your connection to nature grants you the ability to predict and exploit your enemies’ weaknesses, ensuring no prey can escape your surgical and decisive attacks, whether in the wild or on the battlefield.
Predator's Precision
3rd-level Relentless Predator feature
You have learned to strike with deadly accuracy. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack or a melee spell attack, you can choose to deal an additional 1d6 damage of the attack's type. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest. This damage increases to 2d6 at 11th level.
Additionally, while wielding two weapons, you add half your Proficiency Bonus (rounded down) to the damage rolls of each weapon attack you make.
Hunter's Eye
3rd-level Relentless Predator feature
Your focus allows you to identify weaknesses in your enemies. You can use your Bonus Action to mark a creature within 60 feet of you. The next weapon attack or a melee spell attack you make against that creature before the end of your next turn is made with Advantage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Relentless Pursuit
7th-level Relentless Predator feature
Your combat instincts allow you to keep pace with your prey. If you attacked a creature on your last turn, and that creature moves more than 5 feet away from you before the start of your next turn, you can use your Reaction to move up to half your Speed toward that creature without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Additionally, when you make an Opportunity Attack, you can add 1d8 to the damage roll.
Predator's Instinct
11th-level Relentless Predator feature
You are at your deadliest when your opponent is at their weakest. When you make a weapon attack or a melee spell attack against a creature that has less than half of its maximum hit points, the attack deals an additional 1d8 damage of the attack's type.
If this attack is a Critical Hit, you regain the use of one Relentless Predator feature that requires a Long Rest (Predator’s Precision, Hunter’s Eye, or Apex Predator).
Apex Predator
15th-level Relentless Predator feature
You become a master of the hunt. When you hit a creature within 60 feet of you with a weapon attack or a melee spell attack, you can choose to make an Apex Strike. The attack deals an additional 3d6 damage of the attack's type, and the creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to 10 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or be Stunned until the end of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
