Base Class: Barbarian
This path first came into existence when the legendary monk, Krag Shatterfist , lost control over his rage and turned to the path of the Barbarian. Barbarians that take up this path use their rage to pummel their foes into submission with their very fists.
Brawler Fists
Beginning at 3rd level you gain the ability to deliver devastating blows with your fists. You are now proficient in Unarmed strikes, they gain the Light weapon property, and their damage is now 1d6. Beginning at 8th level when you use your bonus action to attack with an Unarmed Strike you may add your Strength modifier to the damage and the damage dice increases to 1d8. Beginning at 13th level the damage dice is increased to 1d10.
Rage-Empowered Strikes
Beginning at 6th level your rage always you to break most defenses. Your Unarmed Strikes are now considered magic for the purpose of overcoming resistances.
Battering Rage
Beginning at 10th level your rage empowered blows become so powerful they can temporarily debilitate your foes. While raging when you use your action to make an Unarmed Strike and hit your opponent must make succeed on a Constitution saving throw equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus or become stunned until the end of your next turn. The amount of times you can use this feature is equal to your proficiency bonus and must take a long rest to perform more once they are used up.
Brutal Counter
Beginning at 14th level your rage allows you to completely negate a melee attack and then strike back even harder. While raging if you are hit by an attack you can use your reaction to attack back at the target, you roll to attack and if you roll higher than the attack from the attacker the attack you take no damage from the attack and you deal your Unarmed Strike's damage and for every 5 higher that you rolled than the attacker you deal an extra dice from your Unarmed Strike.

Posted Sep 6, 2019Great subclass! I would make de damage die progression equal to the monk's (1d4 at level 3, 1d6 at level 6, 1d8 at level 11, 1d10 at level 17). That way would be more balanced.
Or, as previously suggested, make only available the benefits of brawler fists during rages.
I'd rather have the fists always on but nerfed. You still get extra damage while raging, anyway.

Posted Apr 6, 2019Perhaps change Rage-Empowered Strikes. I just think that having punches magical for the sake of it kind of metas a bit, if you know what I mean. I do really like the Brutal Counter effect. Last thing, are the Brawler fists only during rage, because I think that would make sense. Overall, I love the concept.
