As a Brute you replace cunning and training with pure muscle and a lone wolf attitude.

Brutish Durability
Text changes to: You are tough as nails, or perhaps just dense. When you suffer a critical hit, you can spend your reaction to turn it into a normal hit.
Additional Fighting Style
This class feature is unchanged.
Stomp the Small
Replaces Devastating Critical.
You relish in oppressing those smaller than you. Once per turn you have advantage on a melee attack roll against a creature at least one size category smaller than you. If you hit, you can make a Push attempt as a Bonus Action.
Selfish Survival
Replaces Survivor.
You are an expert at looking out for number one. When you are targeted by an attack or forced to make a save against a damaging effect while within 5 feet of another friendly or neutral creature of at least CR ¼, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to target that creature instead. You must use this ability before the attacker makes the roll or you make the save.
The attacker must be able to see the new target, and can choose which creature to target if more than one are available.
Once you have used this ability, you can no longer use it again with the targeted creature until you have finished a long rest.
