Base Class: Barbarian
The Path of the Bloodforged calls to those who revel in the thrill of battle and harness their wounds as a source of power. Bloodforged barbarians thrive on exchanging blows with their enemies, regaining vitality through violence and reflecting damage back at those bold enough to strike them in close combat.
Bloodletting Fury
While you rage and strike a foe with a melee strike, you may absorb vitality from your opponent. Once per turn, when you strike a foe with a melee strike and deal damage, you may expend one Hit Die to recover HP equal to half damage dealt, rounded down. Starting at level 10, you may add your CON modifier to the amount of HP recovered this way.
Reckless Thorns
When you make a reckless attack, you are surrounded by an invisible protective magic aura until the start of your next turn. Opponents that strike you and do damage within melee range have part of their attack reflected. Opponents receive reflected damage up to your CON modifier of the same damage type used in their attack (resistances and immunities apply). Damage dealt to you is reduced by the amount of damage successfully reflected.
Bloodforged Resilience
Your body becomes hardened through battle and bloodshed. When you reflect damage from an attack during reckless attack, you become resistant to that damage type until the start of your next turn. If you are already resistant, gain immunity.
Raging Confidence
When you unleash your full fury, the echoes of pain return to bolster your allies and distract your foes. While you rage, you and all allies within melee range gain advantage on saves against the frightened and charmed conditions. At level 17, this benefit extends to all allies within 30ft. Additionally, all foes you strike with a melee attack while raging have disadvantage on any concentration saving throws caused by your attack.
