Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Revolution are voices of change, leading uprisings with their powerful rhetoric and defiant anthems. They believe that true progress comes from challenging the status quo, and through their stirring words, they kindle the flames of rebellion. Whether in secret gatherings or open forums, these bards sow the seeds of revolution, and their voices inspire the downtrodden to fight for a brighter future.

Rallying Voice

Starting at 3rd level, your words become the catalyst for action. When you make a Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Deception) check to inspire change or incite rebellion, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10. Your words always seem to find the right moment to strike.

Seeds of Dissent

Also at 3rd level, you can weave doubt into the minds of those in power, making them second-guess their decisions. As a bonus action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and choose one creature you can see within 60 feet of you. Roll the Bardic Inspiration die. The creature must subtract the number rolled from the next saving throw it makes before the start of your next turn, as your words stir inner conflict.

Defiant Spirit

At 6th level, your inspirational words instill unwavering resolve in your allies. When a creature adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and still fails, the creature can keep the Bardic Inspiration die. Your allies know that, even in the face of failure, the revolution cannot be stopped.

Voice of the People

Also at 6th level, your revolutionary message transcends barriers of language. As an action, choose one or more creatures within 60 feet of you, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature). The chosen creatures can magically understand your words, regardless of the language you speak, for 1 hour.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot to use it again. No matter the language, your cause can reach any heart.

Chainbreaker’s Cry

At 14th level, the passion of revolution is contagious, and your words can spark a chain reaction. When a creature within 60 feet of you adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll succeeds, you can use your reaction to inspire another creature (other than yourself) within 60 feet of you, giving it a Bardic Inspiration die without expending any of your uses. Your revolutionary cry echoes from one person to the next.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
