Base Class: Fighter
The Apex Fighter stands at the pinnacle of martial prowess, embodying the ultimate warrior's spirit. With an intimidating presence and an edge honed through countless battles, this subclass is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. An unstoppable juggernaut of offensive might, the Apex Fighter commands awe and fear, striking with unparalleled precision and defending with unbreakable resolve. Carving a path of glory through their foes, their very presence shifts the tide of battle, marking them as the undisputed sovereign of combat.
Unnerving Presence
Your sheer presence on the battlefield is enough to cause hesitation and fear. You gain expertise in Intimidation.
Legendary Action
Starting at Level 3 your combat prowess allows you to strike when others least expect it. You gain one legendary action that you can use to make a ranged or melee attack with a weapon or unarmed strike, a shove, or a grapple attack. This legendary action recharges after a long rest.
You gain additional Legendary Actions at level 10 and 15.
Unyielding Assault
At Level 7 your relentless fighting style allows you to press the attack with unmatched ferocity. As a bonus action, you can make a single melee or ranged weapon attack, unarmed strike, shove, or grapple attempt. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses after a short or long rest.
Titanic Resilience
At Level 10 your formidable presence and sheer determination render you nearly impervious to debilitating conditions. You gain immunity to being frightened and advantage on saving throws against being charmed or paralyzed. Additionally, when you are subject to an effect that allows you to make a saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage on a successful save and only half damage on a failed save.
Legendary Action
You gain an additional Legendary Action.
You gain additional Legendary Action at Level 15.
Earthshatter Strike
At Level 15 you can strike the ground with immense force, sending a wave of rubble and debris crashing forward. As an action, you can strike the ground and create a 40-foot cone of rubble. Each creature in the cone must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes 4d10 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and is not knocked prone. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.
Legendary Action
You gain an additional Legendary Action.
Final Form
At Level 18 you can use a Bonus Action transform into your Final Form, a state of heightened power and resilience. This transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you are reduced to 0 hit points. You can use this feature once per long rest. While in your Final Form, you gain the following benefits:
- Unbreakable Will: You have advantage on all saving throws.
- Improved Defense: You gain resistance to all damage types.
- Augmented Strength: Your unarmed strikes, melee, and ranged weapon attacks deal an additional 2d10 damage.
- Enhanced Speed: Your movement speed increases by 20 feet, and you can take the Dash action as a bonus action.
- Terrifying Presence: When you transform, all enemies within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier) or be frightened for 1 minute. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
- Temporary Vitality: You gain 20 temporary hit points
