Base Class: Paladin
The Forge-Bound are a Dwarven Order dedicated to Thoradin, honouring him through craftsmanship. The order is comprised of clerics, paladins and other holy men like any other, though there are also skilled craftsmen such as blacksmiths, stonemasons, and locksmiths. Those few who aren't capable craftsmen within the order are merchants who sell the wares crafted by the order. Chapters of the order therefore operates as both a mercantile guild and religious temple.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Artisan's Blessing. You conduct an hour-long ritual that crafts a non-magical item that must include some metal: a simple or martial weapon, a suit of armour, ten pieces of ammunition, a set of tools, or another metal object. The creation is completed at the end of the hour, coalescing in an unoccupied space of your choice on a surface within 5 feet of you.
The thing you create can be something that is worth no more than 100 gp. As part of this ritual, you must lay out metal, which can include coins, with a value equal to the creation. The metal irretrievably coalesces and transforms into the creation at the ritual’s end, magically forming even non-metal parts of the creation.
The ritual can create a duplicate of a non-magical item that contains metal, such as a key, if you possess the original during the ritual.
You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.
Forge-Bound Weapon. As an action, you can imbue one weapon that you are holding with the power of the Forge, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, you add your Charisma modifier to attack and damage rolls made with that weapon (with a minimum bonus of +1). If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration.
You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.

Aura of The Forge
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are resistant to fire damage and can add your charisma modifier (min +1) to all checks involving tools. This bonus is doubled for Smith's tools. You must be conscious for the aura to have an effect.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
The Flame Within
Beginning at 15th level, your weapons and armour constantly blaze with the might of The Forge. You are constantly affected by the fire shield spell. You choose the type of shield you have at the end of any rest. Additionally, you may choose to deal fire damage instead of radiant damage whenever you deal radiant damage.
Avatar of The Forge
At 20th level, as an action, you can become an Avatar of The Forge. For 1 minute, you take an appearance of your choice to represent the power of The Forge. For example, you may take on a metallic, construct like appearance or embody fire with burning hair and rocky, magma-like skin. Whilst in this form, all creatures within 30 feet of you feel the heat of The Forge radiating from you. You gain the following benefits:
- Upon using this feature, hostile creatures that can feel the heat of the forge take 10 plus your charisma modifier (with a minimum bonus of +1) fire damage. When a hostile creature starts its turn in the 30 ft. area, it takes 1d10 plus your charisma modifier (with a minimum bonus of +1) fire damage.
- You are immune to fire damage.
- Creatures within 10 feet of you feel the true heat of The Forge. This is too much for those not under the protection of the forge. Hostile creatures become vulnerable to fire damage if they aren't already. Hostile creatures that are immune to fire damage are instead resistant, and those that are resistant lose their resistance.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Additionally, you have advantage and add your charisma modifier (with a minimum bonus of +1) to all checks involving tools. This bonus stacks with all other bonuses, including Aura of The Forge.
