Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Life Wardens have dedicated themselves to protecting the living from the forces of the undead, demonic energies, and other abominations. These Rangers often delve into haunted forests and forgotten crypts in search of evil to snuff out before it can infect civilization, calling upon divine powers to aid their allies and shatter their foes.

Spiritual Hunter

Your Hunter's Mark is imbued with positive energy. You add your Wisdom modifier to attack rolls you make against a creature marked by your Hunter's Mark (minimum bonus of +1), and each time you hit the creature, you can choose to deal the attack's normal damage type or Radiant damage.

Life Warden Spells

When you reach a Ranger level specified in the Life Warden Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Life Warden Spells
Ranger Level Spell
3 Protection from Evil and Good
5 Warding Bond
9 Beacon of Hope
13 Aura of Life
17 Dispel Evil and Good

Font of Life

You harbor a wellspring of divine energy within yourself, represented by a pool of four d12s, which you use to mend wounds. As a Bonus Action, you can heal yourself or one creature you can see within 60 feet of yourself, expending dice from the pool. Roll the dice, and restore a number of Hit Points equal to the roll’s total.

Your pool regains all expended dice when you finish a Long Rest.

The pool’s maximum number of dice increases by one when you reach Ranger levels 6 (5 dice), 12 (6 dice), and 17 (7 dice).

Inviolable

You gain Resistance to Necrotic damage, and your Hit Point maximum can’t be reduced.

Divine Focus

While you maintain Concentration on Hunter's Mark, the gods focus their will through you. During this time, when you cast a level 1+ spell from your Life Warden Spells feature, you can modify the spell so that it doesn't require Concentration. Instead, the spell lasts for 1 minute, but it ends early if you cast that spell again or if you lose Concentration on Hunter's Mark.

Devoted Warden

You can cast Protection From Evil and Good without expending a spell slot. You can do so a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

In addition, you can cast the spell without a Material component, its range increases by 60 feet, and you can target one additional creature when you cast it.
