Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The Dreamweaver is a wizard who has unlocked the arcane secrets of the Dreamscape, a mystical plane intertwined with the minds and dreams of all sentient beings. Through complex rituals involving incantations, enchanted herbs, and rare gemstones, a Dreamweaver forges a deep connection to the Dreamscape, allowing them to enter it at will and manipulate it to their advantage. In this realm, the limits of the physical world fall away, and the Dreamweaver can shape the environment, conjure fantastic illusions, and access magical power that would otherwise be beyond their reach.

While the Dreamscape provides vast opportunities, it is a dangerous and unpredictable domain, where both nightmares and dreams can manifest in dangerous ways. Only the most disciplined wizards can harness its power without succumbing to the endless allure of its infinite possibilities.

Dream shaping

You can enter the Dreamscape by meditating or sleeping for at least 10 minutes. In the Dreamscape, you can interact with dream-like constructs and landscapes. Your physical body remains in the material world, but your consciousness is fully present within the Dreamscape. Once in the Dreamscape, you gain the ability to shape the environment around you. The landscape, architecture, and inhabitants of this realm are fluid, responding to your will.

Binding yourself and your spellbook to the Dreamscape grants you following benefits.

  • In the waking world, spells are tough and costly to learn. But in the Dreamscape, you’ve got unlimited resources, letting you learn spells at one-tenth the cost.
  • You can change the damage type of spell you cast to a different type; choose from Acid, Cold, Fire, Force, Lightning, Necrotic, Poison, Psychic, Radiant, or Thunder.
  • By spending an hour in the Dreamscape with an empty book, a Dreamweaver can craft a new spellbook that includes all the spells they've mastered there.
  • By concentrating on an object while holding their spellbook, Dreamweavers can transport non-living items between the physical world and the Dreamscape, a process that takes one minute for every 50 pounds.
  • In their Dreamscape, Dreamweavers can meet others in their dream realms and bring aspiring Dreamweavers into the Dreamscape for training.

Complete Arcane Energy Restoration

Thanks to the instantaneous replenishment of arcane energy in the Dreamscape, your ability to recover arcane power has improved. When utilizing the Arcane Recovery feature, you regain all expended spell slots, rather than having a total level equal to or less than half your wizard level.

Dreamscape Spell Mimicry

Whenever you observe a spell being cast, you can attempt to learn it by mimicking it in the Dreamscape. Roll a d100; if you roll between 1 and 10, you successfully learn the spell. Each subsequent time you witness the spell, your chance of success increases by 1. You can use this feature once a week.

This ability transcends class limitations, enabling you to learn spells from any class, but you can only try to learn spells for which you have the required spell slot for the lowest level version.

Spell Focus Mastery

Your mastery of spells through countless hours of practice in the realm of dream has improved your focus so much that you can maintain concentration on multiple spells simultaneously. You can concentrate on two spells at level 10, three spells at level 13, and four spells at level 17.

Dreamer's Maximum Potential

Since you began learning magic, you have aimed to create the greatest impact with each spell. Now, you can make this aspiration a reality by casting a spell at its maximum effect. This ability can be used once per week.
