Base Class: Warlock
Warlocks who form a pact with Ekkreth—a shapeshifting god of freedom and transformation—become champions of liberation, using their powers to break chains, free the oppressed, and disrupt tyrannical forces. Ekkreth is a deity of fluid identity, capable of taking any form and slipping through any bonds. Warlocks of this pact gain the ability to alter their forms and wield the power of transformation to inspire freedom and defy control.
Ekkreth’s Boon
Upon forming your pact with Ekkreth, you gain the ability to channel your patron’s shapeshifting powers to free yourself and others. You learn the Disguise Self spell and can cast it at will without expending a spell slot. Additionally, you gain proficiency in the Deception and Persuasion skills, if you don’t already have them.
Shape of Freedom
Ekkreth blesses you with the ability to temporarily alter your physical form to escape confinement and adapt to your surroundings. As an action, you can transform your body for 10 minutes, gaining one of the following benefits of your choice:
Fluid Form: You can squeeze through spaces as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing, and you have advantage on checks made to escape grapples or restraints.
Bestial Form: You gain natural weapons, such as claws or fangs, that deal 1d6 damage of a type chosen by you (slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning). These natural weapons count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Mimic Form: You can perfectly mimic the voice and mannerisms of another creature you have heard for at least 1 minute. You gain advantage on Charisma (Deception) checks made to pass as the mimicked creature.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Unshackled Spirit
Your connection to Ekkreth grants you resistance to effects that would bind or control your will. You gain advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, or paralyzed. Additionally, when you or an ally within 30 feet of you is subject to any of these conditions, you can use your reaction to grant them another saving throw to end the effect. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses after a long rest.
Form of Ekkreth
Your ability to alter your form becomes even more potent. You can cast Polymorph once without expending a spell slot, using it only on yourself or a willing creature. When cast this way, the target can retain their mental ability scores (Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma) while in the new form. Once you cast Polymorph in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. Additionally, when you use your Shape of Freedom feature, you can now choose two benefits instead of one.
Avatar of Ekkreth
You become a true embodiment of Ekkreth’s power, gaining the ability to inspire mass freedom. As an action, you can channel the essence of Ekkreth, granting yourself and all allies within 60 feet of you the following benefits for 1 minute:
Freedom of Movement: Allies cannot be restrained, grappled, or paralyzed, and they have advantage on checks to escape bonds or restraints.
Shapeshifter’s Resolve: Allies can use a bonus action to change their appearance or their voice as per the Disguise Self spell.
Ekkreth’s Protection: Allies gain temporary hit points equal to your warlock level, which refresh at the start of each of their turns.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
