Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Ironbound is a solemn vow rooted in ancient Nordic values, dedicated to those who fearlessly embrace fate and draw power from the spirits of their ancestors. Paladins who take this oath embody the strength of their lineage and the resilience of their people, honoring the fallen and protecting the living with unbreakable determination. Through their connection to the Wyrd—the binding force of fate—they gain insight into the flow of battle and access to supernatural endurance. In times of great need, these warriors can call upon the spirit of the North, channeling ancestral power to bolster their allies and defy even death itself.
Tenets of the Ironbound
Fear Profits a Man Nothing. Act decisively in the face of danger and do not retreat unless it serves a greater purpose. Fear should not influence your decisions or hinder your resolve.
Glory Through Deeds, Not Words. Pursue honor through your actions alone. Avoid boasting and let your achievements speak for themselves in the eyes of others.
Honor the Ancestors. Regularly reflect on the deeds of your ancestors and strive to live up to their legacy. Seek wisdom from traditions, and let their strength guide your path.
Endurance Against All Odds. Accept suffering as a natural part of your journey, and do not falter in adversity. Persist in your duties, enduring hardship to uphold your oath.
Strength Binds Us. Support your allies unconditionally, viewing your strength as part of the greater whole. Protect your companions, and be willing to sacrifice for those who rely on you.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options:
Invoke Ancestry. You can use your Channel Divinity to call upon the spirits of your ancestors for guidance and protection. As an action, spectral figures surround you, granting you advantage on [saving throws] against being charmed or frightened. These figures remain for 1 minute, and you can see and communicate with any nearby lingering spirits. During this time, you also have advantage on Wisdom and Constitution saving throws.
Iron Will. You can use your Channel Divinity to harden your resolve. As an action, you gain resistance to all damage except psychic for 1 minute and become immune to the frightened condition.

{{30}}feet without provoking opportunity attacks. - If you drop to 0 hit points, you drop to 1 hit point instead (usable once per activation).
After you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before using it again.
