Base Class: Barbarian
Though your affliction with necromancy or a possible curse, the dead answer your revenant rage. You call forth the bones of the long forgotten to animate, as mindless and furious as your path on the battlefield.
Vessel of the Dead
At 3rd level, your body is a vessel of unlife and persistence. You gain resistance to necrotic and poison damage and have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned.
Call of the Dead
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage channels false life into the earth, summoning forth any dead that may answer your call. Whenever you activate your rage, you may call forth a number of skeletons equal to your proficiency bonus in an unoccupied space within 15ft. They are friendly to you and your allies, and they take their turn immediately after yours. They persist until your rage ends, or they reach 0 hit points.
Your skeletons are unique, and feature a stat block as seen below. They use your dexterity modifier plus proficiency to hit, have an armor class equal to 10 plus your constitution modifier, and hit points are equal to 5 times your class level.
Vengeful Tether
Beginning at 6th level you can restore the vitality of your skeletal summons. While you are raging, you may use a bonus action to lose hit points equal to twice your barbarian level and distribute those hit points across any number of skeletons you have to heal them during your rage. This damage is not reduceable and overcomes any immunities or resistances to damages you have.
If you currently have no skeletal summons, you create a skeleton within an unoccupied 15ft range with that amount of hit points.
Bonestorm
At 10th level, your summons can sacrifice themselves to deal area of effect damage in a flurry of bone splinters. As a bonus action you can cause any number of skeletal summons you have to explode. Each creature within 5ft of the affected summons must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8+Prof+Con) or take piercing damage equal to twice your barbarian level, or half as much rounded up on a success.
If multiple summons were to cause an overlap in areas of effect, creatures within multiple areas at once only take one instance of damage. This damage is considered magical for the effects of overcoming resistances.
Unyielding Death
At 14th level, your ties to the dead strengthen your summons, prolonging their lives. Your skeletal summons persist even after your rage ends for a number of hours equal to your proficiency bonus. Your maximum number of summons is still equal to your proficiency bonus.
Additionally, you can have Vengeful Tether or Bonestorm trigger whenever a skeletal summon takes damage, potentially healing fatal blows or exploding them as a rebuke.
