College of Mockery

Bards from the College of Mockery focus on humiliating and rilling up their opponents. They gain certain bonuses during combat.

Manipulator

You gain expertise on Deception and Persuasion.

Annoying Banter

As a bonus action, you may spend one inspiration die to gain additional points to your AC equal to your inspiration die until the end of your next turn.

Additionally, when a creature you can see within 60 feet of you rolls a natural one, regain an inspiration die.

Big Fat Meanie

At 3rd level, your Vicious Mockery cantrip now does 1d8 + charisma mod damage. This increases to 2d8 at 5th level, 3d8 at 10th level, and 4d8 at 14th level. Additionally, you can also cast Vicious Mockery as a bonus action.

Condescending Laughter

At 3rd level, when a creature makes an attack and misses against you, all attack rolls targeted at you by the same creature receive a deduction based on your charisma modifier.

Professional Shit-Talker

At 6th level, Vicious Mockery now has an area of effect. It’s range increases to a 20ft cube.

In addition, when a creature fails their saving throw against your vicious mockery twice consecutively they become frightened of you for 1 minute.

Hilarious Defeat

At 6th level, if you reduce a creature’s hitpoints to 0 with Vicious Mockery, you gain temporary hitpoints equal to the damage dealt.

Confidence Sapper

At 14th level, if a creature fails your Vicious Mockery saving throw, that character loses 1d6 from their Strength stat. If that creature’s Strength stat drops to 0, it dies. This stat drop is reversed after 24 hours or if the caster chooses to dispell the effect.
