Base Class: Barbarian
The Shadowfell, black and untamed, is a wilderness more ferocious than any. A few particular warriors of great bravery, or perhaps great foolishness, seek out its death and decay, desiring to claim its power for themselves to wreak havoc and terror upon their enemies.
Those who choose this path were usually raised in shadows, or were fond of them from a young age, and as such, do not fear the dark. Such barbarians learn how to form weapons made of shadow and be bound to them, body and soul, allowing even their flesh to melt into blight.
Shadow Bind
At 3rd level, you learn a ritual that creates a magical bond between yourself and one weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon and forge the bond.
Once you have bonded a weapon to yourself, you can't be disarmed of that weapon unless you are incapacitated. If it is on the same plane of existence, you can summon that weapon as a bonus action on your turn, causing it to teleport instantly to your hand.
Any bonded weapon, while you remian bonded to it, can deal necrotic damage or its regular weapon damage.
What Lurks in the Dark
Additionally a 3rd level, you have mastered the ability to invoke fear upon your enemy, and make even the sturdiest foes quake at your unending anger. Whenever you enter your rage, and whenever an enemy ends their turn within 5ft of you during your rage, that creature must make a wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of your next turn. At 10th level, you are able to invoke fear in even the heartiest creatures, and your aura ignores fear immunity. At 14th level, your aura becomes 15ft.
While afraid of you in this way, you may have any creatures you choose in the aura take necrotic damage equal to d6s equaling your rage bonus (e.g. If your rage damage bonus is 2, they take 2d6 necrotic damage) whenever you deal damage to them once per turn
You determine the saving throw DC by adding 8 + your proficiency bonus + your constitution modifier
Consume Shadow
At 6th level, you have have become so attuned with the shadowfell you can feed of the dark itself to mend your wounds. While raging, at the start of each to your turns, you regain a number of hit points equal to your barbarian level as long as your in dim light or darkness.
Ravenous Shadows
At 10th level, you learn how to summon a piece of the shadowfell directly to the material plane. As an action, while raging, you can cast the Darkness Spell, without needing concentration. You can see through this magical darkness even if you lack Darkvision normally, and a creature without Devil Sight can not see through it. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
Grasping Dark
At 14th level, an unearthly darkness seems to follow you where ever you go, the shadowfell itself seemingly connected to you. When raging, your weapon attacks gain the reach property out to 15ft as shadow like tendrils shoot from your arms. Additionally, any creature that end their turn in the area of darkness created by your Ravenous Shadows ability must make a dexterity saving throw or take a d6 necrotic damage equal to your rage bonus, or have take half as much on a successful save.
