Base Class: Barbarian
Dragons are prideful creatures, using their superior strength, innate abilities, and prowess to best all others. For Dragonborn, this is no different. This subclass hopes to simultaneously improve the dragonborn race and bring a new playstyle of barbarian to the table.
Restriction: Dragonborn only
Only dragonborn may choose this subclass.
Potent Breath
Your fury has caused your draconic instincts to grow stronger and much more deadly.
Starting at 3rd level, you may add your rage damage and Constitution modifier to your breath attack damage while raging. Additionally, you may use your breath attack a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier before finishing a short or long rest.
Draconic Nature
Your growing connection to your heritage grants you benefits even when not engaged in combat.
At 6th level, you gain a benefit based on your draconic ancestry.
- Brawny (Red, Brass, Bronze, Copper) - You count as one size larger for your carrying capacity and you have advantage on Strength checks made to push, pull, lift, or break objects.
- Predator (Blue, Black, White) - You gain proficiency in the Stealth skill, and have advantage on Stealth checks made to hide in a natural environment.
- Lithe (Green, Gold, Silver) - Your speed increases by 10 feet.
Frightful Presence
Your natural frightening presence has been amplified exponentially.
Beginning at 10th level, you may attempt to frighten any number of creatures that can see or hear you within a 15-foot radius of you as an action. Once you do, all of the creatures within this radius must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + Proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you for one minute. Any affected creature may make another wisdom saving throw at the end of their turns, ending the effect on a success. If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can't use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.
This feature may be used once per short or long rest.
Flying Terror
You have finally harnessed your draconic power to its full potential.
Beginning at 14th level you gain a pair of wings with a flying speed equal to your movement speed. Additionally, you may use your action to beat your wings. Any creatures in a 15-foot cone centered on yourself must pass a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8+ proficiency bonus + Dexterity modifier) or be knocked prone.
