Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Path of the Viking is one that the barbarian hopes will end with his soul in the halls of Valhalla. The Norse Gods grant the Barbarian on this path strength, courage, and magic. in battle, the gods Thor; Tyr; Heimdall; and Odin empower the Barbarian's rage.

Thor's Hammer

Starting at 3rd Level you can channel Thor's fury into your weapon strikes. While you’re raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack suffers an extra effect depending on the type of damage you choose when your attack hits.

Thunder

The target takes no extra damage, but if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone.

Thor's Hammer (Thunder) Save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier.

Lightning

The target takes extra Lighting damage equal to 1d6 + half your Barbarian level.

By the Hand of Tyr

At 6th level, when you are raging your courage in battle is fortified by Tyr's hand, and you are driven to engage your enemies. While raging, you are immune to being frightened or charmed, If you are frightened or charmed prior to entering a rage the effects are suspended until your rage ends. In addition, at the end of each of your turns while raging, you gain temporary hit points equal to your half your Barbarian level + Constitution modifier if you are within 5ft of an unfriendly creature that is not incapacitated.

Sounding the Gjallarhorn

At 10th level, when you rage you do so without losing presence of mind for your companions. Heimdall sounds the Gjallarhorn to alert you to friends who are in danger. You gain the ability to Help as a bonus action. Alternatively, if you are wielding a sheild, you can choose to use your bonus action to protect one creature of your choice within 5ft of you. You create a Shield Wall adding your shield’s AC to the creature until the start of your next turn or until they move more than 5ft away from you.

Valhalla I am Coming

At 14th level, your valor in battle has earned you a place in Valhalla. Odin ensures that your arrival is preceded by nothing less than a glorious death in battle. While raging, having 0 hit points doesn’t knock you unconscious. You still must make death saving throws, and you suffer the normal effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points. However, if you would die due to failing death saving throws, you don’t die until your rage ends.

Additionally, during a long rest, you can make a blood sacrifice to Odin. Roll 1d6 to determine the effect. Odin grants you and your companions a Heroes' Feast when a 6 is rolled.
