Base Class: Monk
Warriors of Dawn bring with them the wrath of the sun, harnessing the raw power of radiant light. Just as the sun shines upon all below, those caught within a warrior of dawn’s light will find it hard to escape even in the darkest of depths.
Armaments of Dawn
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level,
Flash You can expend 1 Focus Point to cast the Blindness & Deafness spell without spell components. Wisdom is your spell casting ability for it.
Glow As an action you can imbue up to three items or ammunition with your light. The Glow sheds a dim light of 10’. You must touch the object to imbue it with your light. Once you have imbued your third object, the next target of glow will take the place of your first. The duration of Glow is one hour. Glow ends early only if the user becomes incapacitated, dies, or ends the effect willingly.
Sundance You know the Dancing Lights Cantrip.
Sun Step
While Glow and or Dancing Lights are active and within sight, you can use a Bonus Action to teleport to an unoccupied space within 5’ of your class generated light sources. You then have Advantage on the next melee attack you make before the end of the current turn.
Improved Sun Step
At 11th level, you gain the ability to use Sun Step as a Bonus action and or a reaction .
If Sun Step is used in response to an attack roll the following occurs. The attack is rolled at Disadvantage. If the opponent’s attack is a hit the Sun Step fails. If the opponent’s attack is a miss the Sun Step is Successful and no damage is taken.
Mastered Sun Step
At 17th level, you have mastered the art of shifting with light. When using Sun Step you can now travel with one willing creature.
Sun Swap When using a object or piece of ammunition under the effect of Glow to target a creature the following can occur. The target creature must make a Dexterity Saving Throw, on a failed save the target‘s position is swapped with your own. The target must not be more than one size than your own and be able to accommodate the new space or Sun Swap will fail. If the target creature Succeeds the Dexterity Saving Throw, the Sun Swap fails.
