Oath of the Void Spells

The magic of your oath ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath of the Void Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Channel Divinity

Channel Divinity Options
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options:
As a servant of the eternal forces that govern fate, you tap into the inexorable power that courses through the very fabric of existence.

Unstoppable Strike: You can use your Channel Divinity to harness the crushing power of a black hole. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you channel the gravitational might to deal an additional 2d8 force damage. The target must then make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the intense gravitational pull locks the creature in place, reducing its speed to 0 until the start of your next turn. The damage increases to 3d8 on 11th level, and again to 4d8 on 17th.

Void's Embrace: As an action, you channel the gravitational force of a collapsing star, surrounding yourself with an aura of crushing power. For 1 minute, you gain advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws. The intense gravitational pull distorts the air around you, making ranged attacks made against you suffer from disadvantage. Additionally, your grasp becomes inescapable, making creatures roll saving throws with disadvantage against your grapple DC, which becomes your paladin spell save DC.

Aura of Calamity

Starting at 7th level, your presence embodies the unyielding force of gravity.
You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you gain the following benefits while you are conscious:

  • Advantage on saving throws against being stunned or knocked prone.
  • You and friendly creatures cannot be forcibly moved by any effect against your will.

Additionally, when a creature within your Aura of Calamity dies, you can use your reaction to cause its body to implode, obliterating it in a surge of gravitational force. Creatures of your choice within 15 feet of the imploded body must make a Dexterity saving throw against your paladin spell save DC. On a failed save, a creature takes force damage equal to your Charisma modifier + your paladin level and is pulled up to a number of feet equal to your paladin level toward the center of the implosion. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and is not moved.

At 18th level, the range of your Aura of Calamity increases to 30 feet.

Herald of Inevitability

Starting at 15th level, your form begins to embody the raw power of cosmic inevitability, marking your presence with an otherworldly aura. Small objects around you start to levitate and tremble as if influenced by a gravitational force, subtly following your movement. You gain resistance to force damage. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can choose to trigger Rend of the Void: Rift. You can use this feature only once per turn.

Rend of the Void: Rift: With a single thought, you vanish, the space around you collapsing into nothingness. In the blink of an eye, you reappear at your chosen destination, the very space you left behind crumbling in your wake.
You teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. Upon teleporting, the space you leave behind momentarily surges in a gravitational collapse. All creatures within 20 feet of both your starting and ending points must make a Dexterity saving throw against your paladin spell save DC. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d8 force damage, or half as much on a successful save. Creatures affected by both points must make the saving throw twice. Creature of your choice automatically pass the saving throw.

You can use Rend of the Void a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and regain all uses at the end of a long rest.

Harbringer of Destiny

At 20th level, The void responds to your call. In the span of a breath, you summon the dark heart of the cosmos — a black hole that bends time and space to your will. As the black hole collapses upon itself, the very ground trembles in its wake, and all who stand near feel the weight of their sins breathing upon them as death lingers closer.

Dark Star: As a magic action, you can cast the Dark Star spell.  

Event Horizon: While Dark Star is active, you can make one additional attack on a creature within 30 feet of you as a bonus action. This attack is made with advantage and deals an additional 2d10 force or cold damage (your choice). If this attack hits, you may cast Divine Smite as part of that attack.

End of the World: When Dark Star’s duration ends, be it from the duration, or a broken concentration, the gravitational collapse of the black hole erupts in a violent surge. All creatures within 20 feet of the collapsing singularity must make a Constitution saving throw against your paladin spell save DC. On a failed save, they take 5d10 force damage and are knocked prone. On a successful save, they take half as much damage and are not knocked prone.

You may do this once per long rest.
