Monk
Base Class: Monk

Some monks who specialize in capture of dangerous foes, or generally fight magic users use the technique of chi blocking to stop the user from casting and moving. Chi blocking, blocks the flow of chi in a target's body which stops them from doing things they could normally do, such as cast spells, use their arms, see, hear, or even move.

Chi Blockers specialize in capturing and containing targets or disabling incredibly powerful enemies so their allies can take them out.

Chi Blocking Technique

At 3rd level you gain the ability to block the flow of chi in a target's body. There are three different chi blocking techniques each specializing in a certain point to block. Upwards of two full blockages can be applied to one target.

-Magic Blockage: You gain the ability to tamper with the flow of chi in a target's body that, if they are a magic user stops them from using their magic for 1d4 turns +the amount of ki you spend on this ability. Takes 1 ki point to use at it's lowest form and you must hit your target with an unarmed attack to activate this ability. The target must make a constitution saving throw equal to your ki save or this effect is applied

-Arm Blockage: You gain the ability to temporarily block the flow of chi in a target's arms for 1d4 turns +the amount of ki you spend on this ability. As long as their arm is blocked they can't do things like wield weapons with that arm or with the two handed property they also can't cast spells with somatic components. It takes 1 ki point to disable each arm on a target and you must hit your target with an unarmed attack to activate this ability. The target must make a constitution saving throw equal to your ki save or this effect is applied

-Leg Blockage: You gain the ability to temporarily block the flow of chi in a target's legs for 1d4 turns +the amount of ki you spend on this ability. For each leg blocked they lose half the movement speed on land and in water.  It takes 1 ki point to disable each leg on a target and you must hit your target with an unarmed attack to activate this ability. The target must make a constitution saving throw equal to your ki save or this effect is applied

-Natural Ability Blockage: You gain the ability to temporarily tamper with the flow of chi in a target for 1d4 turns +the amount of ki you spend on this ability.  This stops a target from using abilities such as a dragonborn's breath weapon or a mindflayer's psionics. It takes 1 ki point to disable a target's natural ability and you must hit your target with an unarmed attack to activate this ability. The target must make a constitution saving throw equal to your ki save or this effect is applied

Sense Blockage

At 6th level you gain the ability to disable one of a target's senses for 2d4 turns at the cost of 2 ki points. The target must make a constitution saving throw equal to your ki save or you can inflict Blindness, Deafness or 1 level of exhaustion with a maximum of 3 levels able to inflict.

Full Body Blockage

At 11th level you gain the ability to block the chi flow below a target's neck while still keeping them alive. You make an unarmed attack against a target and if it hits you expend 3 ki points to force the target to make a constitution saving through against you ki save dc or they are paralyzed. The target can remake the save at the end of each of their turns.

Physical Chi Blockage

You spend 3 ki points to force a target to make a constitution save against your ki dc or you drain 1d10 points from either their strength, dexterity or constitution stat with the minimum possible stat being 1. This wheres off after the target has a long rest.
