Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

The Moonlit Chronostalker subclass draws its power from the enigmatic forces of the moon and time. Those who choose this path are often individuals who have been touched by lunar magic. They are guardians of temporal balance, wielding powers that allow them to manipulate time and shadows. Moonlit Chronostalkers are often seen as mysterious figures, respected and feared for their ability to influence the flow of time. They are called upon in times of temporal crisis, serving as both advisors and warriors. Their connection to the moon also makes them revered in cultures that worship lunar deities.

Lunar Calling

At 3rd level, you attune to the moon's phases, gaining access to calling spells that reflect its influence. You learn the Silent Image spell, which doesn't count against your number of known spells and is always prepared. This spell allows you to create illusions that blend seamlessly with the moonlit environment.

Moonlit Vigilance

Also at 3rd level, the moon sharpens your senses. You gain darkvision out to 60 feet, or if you already have darkvision, its range increases by 30 feet. Additionally, you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks when the moon is visible, as its light grants you heightened awareness.

Celestial Strike

At 7th level, you channel the moon's power into your attacks. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can deal an extra 1d6 radiant damage. The damage increases to 4d6 when the moon is full, reflecting your connection to its cycles.

Eclipse Hunter

As an Bonus Action, you can become invisible until the end of your next turn. While invisible, your movement speed increases by 10 feet, and you can make one weapon attack with advantage. Additionally, you can use your reaction to reroll a failed saving throw, representing your ability to momentarily rewind time. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier per long rest.

Temporal Evasion

At 11th level, you learn to manipulate the flow of time around you. Once per long rest, you can cast the Blur spell on yourself without expending a spell slot, as you momentarily shift between moments.

Additionally, When you are in dim light or darkness, you can use the Hide action as a bonus action, allowing you to blend with the shadows. Additionally, you can’t be tracked by non-magical means unless you choose to leave a trail.
