Base Class: Fighter
As a gold it is expected of you to learn many things. From philosophy to philanthropy golds are taught the basics so that they are prepared to continue to lead society for years to come. However your interest seemed to start at the hilt of a blade, and end with blood on the ground. Ever since you could hold a sword you knew that it would be how you chose to walk through life, and whether it was due to your talent or hard work you became proficient in any single handed sword you've been able to wield. Now through your time spent at the bleeding place settling debts and vendettas you can proudly call yourself a duelist whose renown in known throughout your family and inner circles.
Improved Critical
Trained in kravat from birth you are able to effectively use your bare hands to attack in rare cases where you may be unarmed or disarmed. Your attack rolls with weapons and Unarmed Strikes can score a Critical Hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20.
Single Handed Mastery
Due to years spent training you have gained mastery in wielding single handed blades. Through this training your have learned to wield single handed blades of many weights and styles. As long as you can effectively swing it with one hand and it has at least 1 sharp edge you add your proficiency bonus to it.
Duelist efficiency
Through your years of duels where you leveraged your life and honor on a blades edge. Thanks to this you have learned to utilize your strength and dexterity in situations of great necessity. Where the average fighter would only be able to use one or the other you can leverage either to your advantage always giving you the edge against the opposition. During Dexterity or Strength saving throws you can use the stat with the highest value without adding the proficiency bonus.
Duelist Parry
After experiencing multiple life threatening battles you have gained an unrivaled expertise in dueling weapons. From whips to short swords you have faced them all in martial combat and come out victorious. When an attacker attempts to hit you with one of these familiar weapons you are able to discern the oncoming attack, mitigate damage, and in certain situations nullify it completely while preparing you to counter attack. If attacked with a finesse weapon or a single handed sword and you roll Higher than the attacker you take no damage and gain advantage on the next attack towards the attacker. If you roll lower you take half damage.
Minds Eye
After many battles you have reflected on all that you've learned and experienced. Through this reflection you have gained a fundamental understanding of the flow of battle and your place in it. This allows you to gain advantage over your opposition while and create disadvantageous positions for your opponents. For two sequential turns in combat you gain advantage on all attack rolls, and your opponents gain disadvantage on all attack rolls against you.
