Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

(Originally my subclass but had a friend remake it for me and publish it himself but I finally thought that I should’ve done that myself and use it in future campaigns)

Originally from the English/Greek inspired lands of Vaskarisk. These Knights first existed as orphans that were taken into private orphanages and trained to be the best of the best soldiers, even better then their fellow Sorkint warriors (Spartans) that came from their own warrior society. As a matter of fact, half of their training was inspired by the Sorkints.

The title of Vasksword is to signify that they specialise in close quarters combat most of all, to categorise them from their Vaskbow and Vaskchurch brethren.

The kind of training and discipline they had endured gives them better odds of resisting the effects of some conditions that would otherwise slow them down, and never being without a way to deal damage. By making the most out of any melee weapon, martial, simple, improvised and unarmed.

Resourceful Fighter

3rd-Level Vasksword Feature

You can now add your proficiency bonus to your unarmed strikes and improvised weapon attack rolls.

Vaskswords Rest

3rd-Level Vasksword Feature

When you take a short rest you remove 1 point of exhaustion. On a long rest you may remove all points of exhaustion.

Resolve of Vaskar

3rd-Level Vasksword Feature

Grants immunity to level 1 & 2 exhaustion, so debuffs will not apply until level 3, all debuffs will fully apply.

Additionally when using Second Wind reduce your exhaustion by 1 point.

At higher levels this resistance increases to 4 levels of exhaustion at level 5 and 6 levels of exhaustion at level 14.

At higher levels the amount that Second Wind reduces your exhaustion increases to 2 levels at level 5 and 3 levels at level 14.

Overbearing Riposte

3rd-Level Vasksword Feature

As a Reaction when being the target of an attack, you may choose to do an Overbearing Riposte: A chance to parry an incoming attack with an attack.

Gain 1 exhaustion then make an attack roll against an attacker within range of a melee attack (including fists/improvised weapons) and add +5 to the results. If the attack roll supersedes the enemies attack roll then you push through their attack effectively deflecting it while striking them.

Roll whatever damage dice your current weapon has adding your damage modifiers and knock them prone given it’s the same size as you or smaller.

At level 5 the amount of charges increases to 3, and at level 14 this increases to 5.

Sorkint Fortitude

7th-Level Vasksword Feature

Grants +5 to saving throws for 3 conditions that can be chosen from the given list.

Charmed
Stunned
Grappled

Tempered Mind

10th-level Vasksword Feature

As a reaction you can remove 1 level of exhaustion.

When doing so, you focus on your enemies week points, choosing an enemy within 60 ft.

You have advantage on the next attack roll or saving throw you make against that creature. That creature also has disadvantage on any attack rolls or saving throws made against you.

Will of Vaskar

15th-Level Vasksword Feature

When you drop below 0 hitpoints regardless of how far Will of Vaskar Activates.

You regain all hitpoints and gain the following benefits and drawbacks:

For every level of exhaustion you gain +2 to all attack rolls and saving throws until the end of combat. If you lose exhaustion then you lose these bonuses equal to the number of exhaustion you lost.

For every turn after you “die” you gain 1 level of exhaustion until combat ends.

You maintain the amount of exhaustion you gained during combat after combat ends.

Your movement is halved while in The Will of Vaskar.

All damage you take is doubled while in The Will of Vaskar.

Finally while under the effect of Will of Vaskar, you cannot die from exhaustion. However, after combat if you have more than 6 exhaustion, you will die.

Vasksword Master

18th-Level Vasksword Feature

You can now gain up to 12 exhaustion without dying.

For every 2 exhaustion you increases by 1 exhaustion level.
