Base Class: Druid

Strike with the wrath of a storm on the high seas. Druids of the Circle of the Tides use the power of the ocean and storms. Some view themselves as embodiments of the ocean's fury.  Others seek unity with the sea by attuning themselves to the ebb and flow of the tides and the rage of ocean storms.

Level 3: Circle of the Tides Spells

When you reach a Druid level specified in the Circle of the Tides Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Level 3: Fury of the Sea

Call on the fury of the ocean. As a Bonus Action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape to manifest a 5-foot Emanation of rushing waves that surrounds you for 10 minutes. It ends early if you dismiss it (no action required), manifest it again, or have the Incapacitated condition.

When you manifest the Emanation and as a Bonus Action on your subsequent turns you can lash out using the waves. Choose another creature you can see in the Emanation. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the target takes Cold damage and, if the creature is Large or smaller, can be pushed up to 15 feet away from you. To determine this damage, roll a number of d8s equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of one die). On a successful save, the target only takes half damage and is not pushed away. 

 

Level 3: Oceanic Affinity

You gain a Swim Speed equal to your Speed. While at least half of your body is submerged in water you can take the Dodge or Disengage actions as a Bonus Action. 

 

Level 6: Rising Tide

The size of the Emanation created by your Fury of the Sea increases by 10 feet. 

In addition, when you activate Fury of the Sea, you gain a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to your Druid level.

 

Level 10: Gift of the Storm

You can draw on more of the ocean's power. Your Fury of the Sea confers two more benefits while active, as detailed below.

Flight. You gain a Fly Speed of 60 feet.

Resistance. You have Resistance to Fire, Cold, Lightning, and Thunder damage.

 

Level 14: Master of the Sea

You are not alone in the storm. You can manifest the Emanation of Fury of the Sea around one willing creature within 60 feet of yourself. That creature gains all the benefits of the Emanation and uses your spell save DC and Wisdom modifier for it.

In addition, you can manifest the Emanation around both the other creature and yourself if you expend two uses of your Wild Shape instead of one when manifesting it.
