Base Class: Cleric
Khnum holds the responsibility of regulating the annual flooding created by the storms of Talos to the deserts of Alsha'Tun. Since the annual flooding bring with it silt and clay, and its water brings life to its surroundings, he has become known as the creator of humanoid bodies and their life force. Legends say he using a potter's wheel and clay, he fashioned these entities and placed them within their mothers' wombs. Often, his creative endeavors were overseen by another god. Some even have said that he had a hand in molding the other deities of his pantheon, while others revere him as the creator of the animal kingdom. Legends do take on their own life, just as pieces of art's interpretation changes over the years.
Although he is apart of the pantheon that rules over Alsha'Tun, as with all gods, he freely roams the world where ever inspiration is flourishing. From festivals, small artisan communities, to the Prismari School of Arts at Strixhaven University, Khnum enjoys witnessing the spark of creation.
Those who pour there heart and soul into their ceramics will inevitably draw the eye of this benevolent god. Many that have received blessings from Khnum create small idols that watch over their kilns during firing to protect their creations and their families. These blessing have ranged from financial fortune, creative renown, and even the gift of life when devote followers are in dire straits.
