Base Class: Barbarian
This subclass is meant to enhance the feeling of a barbarians rage. I felt that it was a bit weird that you could rage and get stronger, then you stop raging and weaken, then you rage again, etc. I feel like sometimes one gets angrier than other times, and different levels of rage lead to different levels of strength. With this subclass, you can give into that primal destruction and just have a little catharsis through some totally deserving goblins. Have fun!
Growing Hatred
You are now able to expend an extra rage slot to reach a new level of rage. For each level of rage beyond first, you gain new power and strength, but you also gain a level of exhaustion.
1st Level: Basic Rage, but now your unarmed strikes deal 1d12 damage plus your strength modifier.
2nd Level: You now gain resistance to all damage types instead of just the main three.
3rd Level: You deal double damage to objects and structures. You can also add your CON or DEX modifier to your attack rolls.
Palpable Hatred
You now gain access to a higher level of rage.
4th Level: All creatures within 30 feet of you must succeed on a DC 20 wisdom saving throw or be frightened by you for the duration of your rage. At the next level of rage, this partially ignores immunity to fear (creatures that were immune are now just resistant).
Unstoppable Hatred
Your 4th level rage now allows you to ignore resistances, and partially ignore immunities. Resistances are nullified and immunities are treated as resistances. At 14th level, any time you have to make a DEX saving throw, succeeding allows you to nullify any damage, while failure only deals half damage.
Destructive Hatred
You gain three new levels of rage.
5th Level: You get disadvantage on attack rolls, but every hit you land counts as a crit. If you roll a 20, you roll yet another damage die.
6th Level: There are two options.
1- You Must Be Stopped - Any enemy creature within 30 feet of you must succeed on a DC 15 wisdom saving throw, or they will be forced to only attack you.
2- Burning Hatred - Any creature within 30 feet of you must succeed on a dexterity saving throw or take 20 fire damage, or 10 damage on a successful save. You also take 10 damage per turn (this is not affected by any resistances or immunities).
7th level: You no longer take damage, however, your rage will end in three turns, and you cannot deactivate it early. You lose the ability to understand or communicate through any languages in this state. When this rage ends, you gain 6 levels of exhaustion. Upon death, your body crumbles into a smoldering pile of ash. Use only as a last resort.
