Legionary

 The Roman legionary was a professional heavy infantryman of the Roman army after the Marian reforms. These soldiers, alongside auxiliary and cavalry detachments, would first conquer and then defend the territories of the Roman Empire during the late Republic and Principate eras. At its height, Roman legionaries were viewed as the foremost fighting force in the Roman world.

Gladius Master

Starting at 3rd level, you deal extra damage with your short sword. When you hit with an attack with a short sword instead of either DEX or STR add both your STR and DEX modifiers to damage.

Testudo

When targeted by a ranged attacker that you can see you may use your reaction to raise your shield granting you +2 to AC until the start of your next turn.

Pilum Master

 

 When a hostile creature moves within 30 ft of the player the player can use their reaction to make a ranged attack with their javelin. If the attack hits the hostile creatures' movement is reduced to zero. Additionally if the creature is carrying a shield and the attack misses by 2 or less the creature must spend an action removing the shield or have disadvantage on all attack roles. However the creatures movement remains unaffected. 

Centurion's presence

At 15th level at the end of your turn, If you hit with any of your melee attacks any allies within 20 feet of you gain advantage on CHA and WIS saving throws. Within 20 feet of where you ended your turn all hostile creatures must make a WIS saving throw against intimidation or become frightened.
