Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Skill Loaners have the ability to lend their abilities to their allies. It takes a toll on the user's body but can come with great benefits. These specialists are not powerful on their own but within a party they can take combat to the next level, literally.

The extent of this power is unknown as not many people delve into this power, even the full drawbacks being unknown.

When you die everything that was loaned gets recalled. All of the recall effects take effect.

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with 1 set of artisan's tools of your choice.

Spell Loaner

Starting at 1st level, you may use an action to use a spell slot when touching a willing creature. When you do so, you may grant the creature 1 additional spell slot equivalent to the spell slot used. For example, if you were to use a level 3 spell slot on this feature, then the creature you touched permanently gains a level 3 spell slot until it is returned. Slots given in this way are used before the creatures' original spell slots.

When you use this feature, you may not regain any spell slots used in this way until you return the loan. When you return your spell slots from a creature, choose which spell levels to take back. In addition, it semi-permanently loses spell slots equivalent to the returned spells. Each long rest taken regains a single spell slot in every level that were loaned and taken back for both parties.

Channel Divinity: Spell Recharge

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to recharge loaned slots.

As an action, you present your holy symbol and evoke arcane energy. Pick a spell level. All loaned spell slots of that level are recharged.

Proficiency Loaner

Beginning at 6th level when you touch a willing creature for a minute, select a skill or tool that you are proficient with. The creature gains advantage with that proficiency and you gain disadvantage. This lasts until you take back the loan.

When you take back the skill or tool proficiency, the creature it was loaned to gets disadvantage on their checks using that skill until they take a long rest.

Health Loan

At 8th level, you can use an action to touch a willing creature to loan your health. You can loan to your hit point maximum of 4. This max health gain on the loaned creature also heals it.

When you recall this loan, you and the loaned creature(s) gain 3 levels of exhaustion. All health you loaned is recalled on the targeted creature. When you recall your health, your current hit points are not increased, but your maximum is.

Attunement Loaner

Starting at 17th level, you can loan item effects of items you are attuned to. For an hour, touch a willing creature and they gain the effects of a single item you are attuned to, with the exception of sentient objects. This lasts until you recall it up to a week.

When recalling this effect, you regain the desired attunement piece. Anyone you recall from cannot gain any effects of their attunement slots until they take long rests equal to the attunement slots recalled. Each long rest is 1 attunement slot regained, similar to the effects of exhaustion.
