Base Class: Rogue
Two Goblins in a trench coat is a subclass that allows you to play as any race. However you are actually two Goblins, in a trench coat. These two Goblins may be brothers bound by blood working together to cause as much mischief as possible, they may despise each other but have motives that transcend our mere mortal compression, maybe you just thought it was funny and didn’t think that part through, either way you are in fact two Goblins, in a trench coat.
This is a slightly stronger version of Zoken44's "Two Goblins in a Trench Coat" so full credits to them!
Level 3: They’re Actually Just Two Gobos
You have successfully managed to trick your fellow party members into actually believing you are somehow anything other than two Goblins in a trench coat. But suddenly your cunning disguise falters leading to the reality crushing realisation you are just two Gobos.
Starting at 3rd level you gain 60 feet of "Darkvison", have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the charmed condition on yourself and have advantage on deception checks when concerning the matter of your true identity as two Goblins in a trench coat.
Level 3: Too Many Hands!
Starting at 3rd level you gain advantage in sleight of hand checks when attempting to steal something, you also gain a second free object interaction on your turn.
Level 3: PANIC!
Starting at 3rd level, whenever you take damage you can use your reaction to exit your trench coat and go in two directions at once. This grants the effects of the disengage action and allows both Goblins to full movement speed each.
While split each Goblin has half of the remaining hit points. They still share the same initiative and don't get more attacks than normal, still only counting as one character. However, as long as one has a weapon it can attack. Whilst split they both count as an ally for the purpose of sneak attack. If one Goblin is attacked that Goblin's HP will decrease separately to the other Goblin instead of evenly between the two and opportunity attacks can only be made against one Goblin at a time. They must use an action to rejoin.
Starting at 5th level upon gaining the "Uncanny Dodge" feature you may use the "PANIC!" feature as a part of your Uncanny Dodge reaction, with both effects being applied. However, once you are split you may no longer use "Uncanny Dodge."
Level 9: Symbiotic Bond
You have become adept in using your disguise to your advantage, having the initiative to "Cut Some Eye Holes!" in your trench coat.
Starting at 9th level you have advantage on all Perception and Investigation checks that rely on sight and cannot be surprised. Now when separated by "PANIC!" both Goblins can make attacks as long as they are using weapons with the light property and if they both choose to attack the second attack gains advantage. Now instead of costing an action to rejoin when separated by "PANIC!" it is a bonus action instead.
Level 9: Bickering!
Starting at 9th level your Goblins have grown different enough that they have learned new skills. Gain proficiency in two new skills.
Whilst the Goblins are split using "PANIC!" Their constant arguing is enough to confound any foe. Once per Long rest you may cast the confusion spell for free without expending any spell slots with a DC of 10+ your proficiency modifier. If all of the creatures targeted by this spell pass the DC both of your Goblins count as having the barbarian's "Rage" feature active until the end of this round.
Level 13: Masters of Trickery
Your Goblins have become masters of using their disguises to their advantage.
Starting at 13th level you may cast the "Disguise Self" spell at will as long as the humanoid you are attempting to disguise as is wearing a trench coat that fully covers them from the neck down.
Level 17: PANIC!!
You have mastered the use of panic in confounding your enemy.
Starting at 17th level while using "PANIC!" if both Goblins opt to attack then both of them gain access to sneak attack. However, only one of them may use the full amount of sneak attack die whilst the other may only use an amount of sneak attack die equal to half of your proficiency modifier.
