Base Class: Rogue
From simple street tricks to circus acts, rogues have always been fans of the knife. Simple and easy to conceal, it has always been an ideal weapon for deft and discreet attacks. Honing in on their dexterous ability to handle these weapons, the Knife Juggler archetype has grown to be both a feared, accurate knife thrower and an impressive performer.
Knife Expert
The Knife Juggler automatically gains proficiency on an item (martial or simple) that is classified as a Dagger. (Talk to your DM to decide on any variant that might cause confusion). In addition they also gain triple the short range and double the long range on any dagger with the Thrown property. The Knife Juggler is also a master of blades. As a result, they gain increased damage with daggers, from 1d4 to 1d6 at level 5. This increases again at level 11 to 1d8 and at 17 to 1d10.
Master juggler
Starting at level 6, the Knife Juggler gains expertise in Performance skill checks related to juggling or tricks with daggers. (If already expertise in this skill, you may choose either Sleight of Hand or Acrobatics instead, at your DM's discretion)
Acrobatics
While using daggers in a juggle or trick, you gain expertise in Acrobatics
Performance
While using daggers in a juggle or trick, you gain expertise in Performance
Sleight of hand
While using daggers in a juggle or trick, you gain expertise in Sleight of Hand
Called Shot
During your turn, as an Action you may make a Called Shot on an enemy target, specifying a location in which you intend to hit. If your next Thrown weapon attack hits your target, you gain an additional 1d12 of damage on that target. The target must then succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw (DC 14) or suffer one of the following conditions (based on the result of a 1d4 die roll if location not specified, or as the DM sees fit for location of Called Shot) until the end of your next turn.
Death's Mark
The Knife Juggler marks a target he can see for death. For the next 24 hours, the rogue knows the location of this target as long as the target remains within the plane this ability was used on. This location is tracked through magical means and cannot be dispelled or hidden. As a result of Death's Mark, the rogue gains advantage on all Saving Throws caused by the target. If the target dies while Death's Mark is active, the Knife Juggler gains his current rogue level + 3d12 temporary hit points.
