Base Class: Wizard
Created by E'Zara HighForge, the Crystalline Eye was the culmination of years of work building prosthetics and arcane technology. The Crystalline Eye is a revolutionary piece of arcano-tech. Processing the more basic components of spell casting allows the user to focus exclusively on directing their force with extreme precision. While most people could never use this tool beyond keeping their power in check, some skilled few could use it to its fullest extent, controlling their magic as if it were just an extension of their body.
Crystal Archive
Your spells are stored within the archive of your crystalline eye to be accessed mentally. To add a new spell to your archive you must study a spell scroll or book for a day as your crystalline eye must memorize every detail of the spell. Additionally, you can change your list of prepared spells after a short rest.
Optical Casting
Your Crystalline Eye functions as your arcane focus. When casting spells with your Crystalline Eye, you can ignore the spell's normal verbal or somatic components. However, you are required to have a line of sight of targets or the targeted point otherwise the casting fails. Spells with a range of touch can now be cast up to 10ft away on a target that can you see. If your Crystalline Eye is ever lost or destroyed a new one can be created over 8 hours of crafting with a high-quality gem as a material component.
Font of Force
As a bonus action, you condense magic into a powerful blow against a target you can see within 60ft of you. Your target must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save the target takes 1d4 force damage and is moved up to 5ft in a direction of your choice. On a successful save the target takes half damage and is still moved up to 5ft in a direction of your choice.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
The damage and distance increases to 1d6 and 10ft at level 10, and 1d8 and 15ft at level 14
Attractive Force
You gain a more precise and delicate control over your magic. As a bonus action, you can amass your magic around an object you can see within 60ft of you to move it. The object can weigh no more than 25 lbs, and it can be moved no more than 20ft per turn.
Additionally, as a reaction, when a successful weapon attack is made against a target you can see within 60ft of you, you can empower the attack with your magic causing it to deal an additional 1d10 Force damage.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus
Fountain of Force
As a action, you can choose a point you can see within 60ft of you. You cause an explosive force of magic to explode toward that point in a 15ft circular area.
Creatures caught within the area must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save they take 2 d12 force damage and are knocked prone. On a successful save the creature takes half damage and its movement speed becomes 0 until the end of its next turn.
You can use this feature once a day but can expend a spell slot of level 3 or higher for additional uses.
